Facebook, Apple and Spotify have all banned Infowars/Alex Jones

ill be honest, i think alex jones' content should be preserved
not because it's right or good or anything, but because it's an example of how batshit insane people can be
though it should all come with a warning like "dont even attempt to beleive this it's all total crap"
preserve all the stuff from the people in history who are good
but also preserve all the shit from the people in history who were totally fucking whacko, albeit with a disclaimer.
kinda like how 2000 years later we all laugh at someone like caligula, in the far future they can all laugh at alex jones.

it's kind of a lesson in how not to present yourself
i see shit bragging about how big his viewerbase is but honestly, how many of those viewers are there because he's a living meme
if you hold communist beliefs and think this is a good thing then you're a short-sighted idiot

Ah yes, the only people who could possibly object to the content of Infowars are diehard Bolsheviks. It only makes sense that all these companies are caving to their demands instead of just practicing some basic decency.
A CHILLING PRECEDENT of removing people taking advantage of the gullible and ill-informed. Didn't he threaten to kill a congressman too or something?
I absolutely love this video of Alex

is it really that difficult to see how Apple, the company that just reached $1 trillion in market share off the backed of exploited laborers, and Facebook+Google, two companies which make their money from the invasion of people's privacy and are both developing software to better track people's movements and actions in real life, might possibly use their ability they've demonstrated here to suppress anti-capitalist views? they've done it once, nothing is stopping them from doing it again.
Aren't conservatives all for letting corporations do whatever the fuck they want? And when those corporations do whatever the fuck they want they get all pissy.
such is the power of the chemicals on the water
Internet Comment Etiquette will never be the same.
Hate him or hate him, he brings up very interesting points to think about

Rocket surgery.
I disagree with this. I think his content should still be available on the platform, but put under "comedy" instead of "political commentary/news," because goddamn some of the shit he says is hilarious.
The free market-at-work
Look at what you guys made him do -

He has a beard now and he's PISSED.
Twitter hasn't banned him because he hasn't broke the rules on the site yet.
If he's a smart guy, he'd probably continue to tiptoe around it. But my expectation, Since his other media accounts have been suspended, he's has to continue posting to twitter more than normal since it's his only remaining platform with such a reach.
He'll slip one day, then the dogs will bite
Saw this on Facebook, I chuckled:

This is amazing cus it's literally a larger scale version of people crying in the refugee camp after being permabanned for shitposting
I'm shocked with all the crazy shit that he's said that it's taken this long tbh

lot of people chewing out jack for not banning alex jones
He's been getting flack for a while over Twitter's handling of people like Jones, it's gotten a lot worse this week thoughs
It's probably not going to work until people start to go after advertisers again.
Twitter isn't very good at all at stopping abuse on their platform.
