It may correct your misguided perception of reality.
Show me where to get started and I'll humour you
Shoot the first person they see, regardless of any consequence?
For starters, they didn’t shoot on sight and gave like 5 commands for the victim to drop his firearm. Normally you don’t get that many chances.
What are you supposed to do when an armed person fails to drop their weapon after several commands? What do you think standard procedure should be here?
God damn, you can literally do the most basic research and know that you are absolutely wrong.
9mm gunshot will register at 160/163 dB - https://www.m1911.org/loudness.htm / http://www.caohc.org/UserFiles/file/Shot%20of%20Prevention%20extra%20handout.pdf

Decibels & Damage. Sound is measured in units called decibels (dB). Sounds of less than 75 decibels, even after a lengthy exposure, are unlikely to cause hearing loss. However extended or repeated exposure to sounds at or above 85 decibels(approximately the level of a vacuum cleaner) can cause hearing loss. - Decibels and Damage
Woah holy shit we can conclude from 2 minute research, that a gunshot at 160 dB can cause hearing loss, who would have fucking thought.
