So your way of approaching this is for them to go. "Tough shit, suck it up and quit complaining" to the LGBT people who are being forced to hide their sexuality. Also what the fuck is this idea of a "LGBT" lifestyle? You know LGBT people aren't all flamboyant hypersexual fanatics, some act normal like everyone else. But they still would like to avoid hiding their sexuality. Also again, there is never a point in that video and the previous video where she mentions she's a Prostitute. Where are you getting the information that she's a prostitute?
Translation: "Three men and one local woman was detained. 4 of them are supervisors of immoral activity in the premise, which includes prostitution. "During the raid, we have checked 143 individuals in the premise. We also have detained 80 individuals, 54 women, and 12 Thailand men, including 4 masquerading as women, or transgender. Aside form that, we also detained 8 Laos women 3 Burmese, 2 Indonesion women, and 1 Bangladeshi man suspected of working as usician, dancer, singer, sex workers/cabaret girls, and staffs" "Workers and customers which preswnt in the premisw durinf the raid also given notices to cooperate with further investigation. Otherther law violations identified were abscence of ID documentation, VISA violation, and Immigrational act violations, among other violations." "Investigations was started for various crimes under Human Trafficking and Smuggling Act, immgigration act, Passport Act, and other immigration laws." "Customers will put on a robe worth RM668 for the chosen ?women, and will be allowes to take the women home"

Bad shit to LGBt people? There's a whole spectrum.of people getting detained in that and other raids, for the reason mentioned- prostitution, immigration, ect. Why are you only seeing LGBT among them, while ignoring their obvious crimes? Using that same case, why are you not accusing Malaysian as being anti-Bangladeshi, or anti Burmese? Or anti-male? They are all there. Being an LGBT is not an excuse to be above law. Of they're just being LGBT then nobosy would have bothered, but prostitutions, with illegal migrations? We can't expect the aurhority to give LGBT special rights can we?
yeah at this point im not surprised you're not banned yet for finally showing off your homophobic nature.
Malaysian kool aid must taste real fucking good, god damn
took three pages to finally get him to show it.
Homophobic how? The translated article does't even mention what are the sexual orientation of those detained? How can we be homophobic to people whose actual sexual orientation are not known? That article clearly mention those people were detained on basis of their crime. How did homophobe come into the equation? At this point all you're throwing are insult. I'm sorry, but if it's insults that you want to exchange, then I can't reciprocate tour intent.
yeah im done talking to you at this point. You shown your true colors.
So your effort only amounts to character assssination after all? And here I hoping that you would be bigger than that...
i didn't do the character assassination my friend. Only thing that happened is that you opened your mouth.
The guy tried giving you many different sources which you all handwaved and now that he's finally condoning that you are too massive of an astronomical twat to even consider speaking to you have the fucking balls to turn around and pretend he was attacking you personally the whole time. Be careful when stepping outside because at this point you're so full of shit you've probably reached the mass of a neutron star and the gravitational pull will make you collide into the sun at the speed of light if it weren't for that basement roof over your head.
first, it's spelled "assassination", second he's not trying to get you banned, last I heard telling the truth wasn't a bannable offense. You're letting your upbringing and a blind devotion to the law thinking it can't be wrong because "it's the law" color your responses here. Just because Malaysia may be a muslim majority country doesnt excuse the fact that you should essentially support state repression of them, because religion and law mixing together has never really ended well. Do I think it was a boneheaded idea to get it on in a car in public? yes. But that doesn't mean I support them being caned for it.
As I have explained, they are not being caned for being lesbian. They are only being act upon when they do something indecent in public, which is public sex in their case, prostitution and illegal business in others. Never was any LGBT arrested purely for being LGBT. They are not repressed in reality. You can't expect people to give them leeway , just because they are LGBT. At this rate any enforcement of law that happened to involve any LGBT individuals will be called racist.
Ask yourself honestly, would a heterosexual couple have been punished as severely, all other circumstances being equal? Do they even get punished?
Of course there are. Although the lot of the news are in Malay language. Usually thwy arw not caned 29 years of prison time, and caning 19 times for rape of stepdaughter https://www1.bharian.com.my/berita/kes/2018/02/394041/penjara-29-tahun-19-sebat-rogol-anak-tiri http://ww1.utusan.com.my/utusan/info.asp?y=2006&dt=0405&pub=Utusan_Malaysia&sec=Muka_Hadapan&pg=mh_03.htm The usual milder case than the OP articles, which mostly inappropriate show of affection in public http://www.sinarharian.com.my/mobile/edisi/pahang/pelajar-ipta-tidak-senonoh-dalam-bas-ditahan-1.318493 http://www.themalaysiantimes.com.my/disaman-kerana-berkelakukan-tidak-senonoh-–-pas/ I don't want to spam these
i feel for you guys who have the patience to debate an individual who clearly does not care about context, is victim blaming, and whatabouting also, rape is a pretty big fucking difference from consensual sex in a car, and I don't see any caning punishment for either of those second two.
the fact that anyone should consider "Caning" a form of punishment is already fucked up to begin with.
I said "all circumstances being equal" and you went and linked me a case of someone raping their stepdaughter. Hmm.
Scientists Baffled by Man's Incredible Ability to Fuck Up Everytime
I can't speak for everybody. But looking at the specification of the cane, and rhe number of caning (6) , if it's me who's doing the public indecency, I would choose the caning instead of the fine. Those canes are not like the usual caning used in civil law punishment you see. Those civil laws one are brutal.
So it takes rape to get punished for sex in Malaysia if you're straight but if you're gay all it takes is having consensual sex on your own time and you're a criminal Okay buddy sounds fair
How about no canes period.
They shouldn't even be getting a fine in the first place, really. The Malaysia government should just fuck off and mind their own business.
You might be thinking of the 'usual' caning. Those are different than the one performed. Caning that was done in the OP article, is not the same, as i have said. These are the specifications: 1. Cane length less than 1.22m, thickness less than 1.25cm 2. If the criminal is pregnant, the caning will be postponed until 2 month postpartum 3. Caning should not be performed on face, head, stomach chest, or private parts. 4. Caning should be done with moderate force. The hand holding yhe cane should not be raised above neck/head level. It should be done in linear motion, not swinging/slashing motion, as ro prevent excessive damage. 5. Not to damage the skib. Which means it should not be done rrpeatedly on a same surface are, to reduce damage. From that you should see how different it would be from normal caning. Thus it would explain why I think paying a fine is worse. This kind of caning would barely leave any lasting effect, or do much damage at all.
You're missing the point here. Caning in general shouldn't be a form of punishment especially in this day and age, and even more so that consensual sex, whether straight or gay shouldn't be punished in the first place. Caning is just a barbaric and primitive form of punishment leftover from a bygone era and the fact it's still being practiced is abhorrent, no matter what the 'specifications' of the cane are. I don't think the government spanking you like a child for doing a 'naughty thing' is a reasonable and civilized form of punishment. Especially in a law rooted in a religious bias, it's just really demeaning and unnecessarily violent.
That my friend, is just difference in perception over cultural values, an eternal source for squabbles between humans. As you thought it is demeaning, others would say it's humbling. Who can say which is right? To each, his own I guess .
Yes. Before we can agree to disagree, we had to understand each other first. That woukd requires much information exchange. I'm.gkad to have this chance of 'cultural exchange', to foster up understanding of each other's stance. Hence why I'm always expressing my gratituted whenever peoole are speaking in honest manner, which makes things easy.
Spank me daddy Ive been a naughty naughty boy
This is honestly disgusting. If you met someone from a culture that condoned raping women, beating children or killing the disabled; would you just let them be, because it's part of their culture? When the vast majority of the civilised world tells you that torturing and assaulting people is not a proper way to deal with lawbreakers, I suggest you really reconsider whatever train of thought leads you to defend such a thing in the first place.
