Condemning ones beliefs are massively different from condemning a sexual preference. Condemning someone for denying historical events or believing in a flat earth, or stealing chocolate is not equal to condemning them for their lifestyle. A lifestyle isn't harmful and factually so. Denying a facts is harmful because it alters important events.

The only way any other people be able to change a group of people's law and practice, is by convincing them that what they belief in is wrong. There's 2 facet of this matter we can consider. The first is not workable, but the second can: 1- Condemnation of LGBT. I dont think anybody would be able to change the believer's conviction. LGBT practices is forbidden. Because it's mentioned clearly in the Quran, which Muslim holds in highest regard. 2 - Method of condemnation. Now this is workable. The method is negotiable. For example, the caning. Caning is not exactly compulsary or mentioned in Quran. It doesnt say anywhere that we should discriminate LGBT either. We should not intrude on their life, except to give advices in a good way. But, Quran clearly shows in the example if they went overboard (raping and pulic sex), then punishment should be made. I understand that western cultures sometimes had different paradigm compared to other cultures. Some are negotiable, some are not. Thus, we can work with one another to understand and improve each other's life, while at the same time sticking to our belief, wherever situation allows.
