Rewind is a farce. It will never reach any semblence of completion because it combines poor (and contstantly changing) leadership with completely voluntary work that has no strict goals or deadlines.

Thank fuck. I've been waiting on Crytek to do something with this IP, even re-releases, for far too long. I have 100% faith that THQ will at a minimum, release Timesplitters 1-3 either in an "HD" bundle, or through the "classics" programs on the PS4 and Xbox. That's all I really ask for, but I'd love a an entire new one.

They could probably make a bunch of money off porting the games to PC, then work on something new after.

If the next game focused on Jo-Beth Casey instead of Cortez, I'd be p happy. There really isn't much more to do with his character after Future Perfect.

It'd be amazing if they combined all 3 into one game or something like that. If they were to make a TS re-pack got a Steam release I'd probably never play anything else again

There's so many classics I'd want to see get that treatment. Just change nothing in design but bring it over to a new engine with new assets, and at most change any archaic nechanics or clunky movement. Imagine this happening to, say, Gothic

Well I mean, Crytek had how many years to do just that? Instead they squandered the IP and only used it to push their crappy engine on an amateur indie team. And they ended up becoming so poor they ended up selling off this asset to keep the lights on. Anyone want to take bets on how long Crytek has left? Maybe the CIG lawsuit will keep them alive another 2 years or so before they sell off even more assets.

it was pulled out because Codemasters... doing usual pullout business. Speaking about that - they could grab Severance too (it was made by MercuryStream studio, of Castlevania LoS fame).

I'd figure the assets you made for 1, 2 and Future Perfect get reused for the HD versions and after that you get working on TS4's multiplayer, if it gets made

reading articles seems like they want to make a new game, however a remaster would be a good idea, business wise, to gauge interest.
