For me the rating goes kinda like this:
Local pizza place (it's really generic pizza but it's really high quality)
Other local pizza place (high quality and delicious pizza but is expensive as fuck)
Dominoes (less generic than my cheap local pizza place but is a bit more expensive)
Little Caesars (it's really cheap but usually the one I go to has a good balance of bread, cheese, and sauce and the cheese doesn't come off when you eat it. usually what we get if we need a lot of pizzas for a party and we don't care about quality too much)
The thing for me that makes or breaks a pizza is if the cheese comes off the pizza, if the cheese slides right off when you eat it then it's shit pizza in my opinion.
Pizza Hut is great. They've really picked up in the last few years. I used to get pizza from Dominos but Pizza Hut are just better these days.
There's one non-chain place I've gotten a pizza from that was actually good, and they cared enough to bake their pizza in a wood fired oven.

Pizza Hut buffets are underrated honestly.
I've found local places in general, while usually better in taste, are always way more expensive. Papa John's is almost always half off and I love the hot peppers and garlic sauce so I don't mind
taking the cheaper route when ordering out.
I always see yanks shitting on Pizza Hut, but around where I live Pizza Hut is one of the better places to get fast food Pizza. It's certainly better than Dominoes, that shit just tastes like soggy cardboard half the time, and it's inexplicably expensive.
Obviously you could go to some posh Italian restaurant to get a really good, but incredibly expensive gourmet pizza- but when it comes to take away, it's always gotta be Pizza Hut.
Discussing which pizza chain is the best is like picking out the brightest kid in special ed. I'm glad that chains haven't taken over here in Denmark, because Domino is literally some of the most boring pizza I've ever eaten. It's not even cheaper.
Pizza is an overrated food. At best pizza is tolerable, but I've never had an amazing pizza (with the exception of palermitan sicilian, might as well not even be pizza).
I am going to submit the retort that pizza is one of the greatest objects ever engineered by humanity.
