I do exactly this if the worst everyone can say is "Hello I am obviously an idiot and broke it MYSELF I DEMAND A REFUND" then you have a perfect product
I so wish I could, but our deli-bakery is so incredibly understaffed it's ridiculous.
I worked Clicklist for a bit, it's better than a lot but like you said, stuff like Bakeries are turbo-understaffed nearly everywhere. It does worry me how much power is slipping out the hands of workers/labor and being seized upon by corporate structures these days, and how people seems just apathetic about it.
Really, the big problem is that it requires basically standing, bending, and heavy lifting near constantly for 7-8 hours a day, with nowhere really to sit until you get your break. Management's always telling us to keep cleaning, to keep shuffling, and it's so much busier and unpredictable than other departments. Heck. All our bakery and deli hires now are getting cross-trained in each other because they predict there's just not going to be enough folks to work it come holidays.
To tell you the truth, Clicklist was similar, albeit intercut with taking stuff outside to customers, doing POS stuff, and some minor technical things. Only every now and then did things slow down, and management types seem to be anal retentive everywhere about making sure nobody can so much as sit for 2 seconds without getting fussed at for not 'doing something'. It also seems like big box chain stores like Kroger, etc. tend to horrifically understaff everything (from stuff I've read and from my own experience) out of a warped mindset of 'the first cost to cut is our payroll' and so on. Matter of fact, I found out that while I got paid $8 an hour working there, a store not 45 minutes away was paying $10+ an hour for the same job role and wasn't understaffing as much. I wound up quitting in the end since I've got college shit to take care of, but I feel bad for those who don't have that option, like my former coworkers, some of which worked 2-3 jobs to support their families.
Oh look. Astroturfing. Great.
This is Marcus from Amazon BC, I assure you, the only kind of astroturfing going on here is the one we sell, like this one for example! Ottomanson Evergreen Collection Indoor/Outdoor Green Artificial Grass Turf Solid Desigh Runner Rug, 2'7" x8' Haha, I'm sure you're rolling your eyes now but rest assured, I wouldn't be here if I didn't want to be! Thanks, only real true users retail employees here. Everyone's laughing plenty until sundown!

They're fucking orders, not some otherwordly ritual or procedure. Not even the people that order shit see it as something that needs a "fulfillment center".
I'm sorry, but "fulfilling orders" is totally valid English. It is under the definition of "meeting their obligations/duties for the order the customer has placed" https://i.imgur.com/cKCGoaX.png
"fulfillment center" yeah no, sounds dumb
fulfillment centers fulfill orders
