Study will pay people to eat advocados everyday for 6 months

This shit would be easy as fuck so long as I could consume the avocado in guacamole form.
Just travel to South America and you'll have plenty of people who have eaten avocados for most of their lives.
On this whole "avocados are bland" thing, there are a lot of fruit and vegetables which are really quite unremarkable on their own. True, sushi does feature them alone (I find them pretty good when eaten with other rolls too), but you're going to struggle to find avocados being served solitary without any spices or in something else. There's some exceptionally good mango and tomato salsas out there who are much better for the avocado in them. Heck, I've had mango and avocado salad before at a restraunt (not mango and avocado ontop of greens, literally just a mix of avocado and mango with an oil dressing) and goddamn it was delicious.
Then again, I'm also a guy who finds mashed scalloped or baked potatoes disgusting (texture basis mostly).
That some people in this thread haven't even tried avocado as a grown up is pretty baffling to me. I'm not hating, but goddamn.
Try out some pretty common vegetables out man, just for the heck of it.
avocado essentially functions in pairings with other foods as any other source of viscous fat, for example, butter, cream cheese, etc.
thats why by itself its unremarkable or bland but put into a meal with other things, particular a source of sugars (bread etc) it tastes good.
