I have absolutely no idea what ESEA main is, and I've no idea what the actual reasons are that women aren't very represented in e-sports. Don't jump to conclusions here. Regardless of whether it's physiological or cultural, having female only events will certainly give many (who otherwise wouldn't) a chance to be represented.

Uh, yeah that tweet is horrible, the implication is extremely prejudiced as it assumes if anyone is a man they are automatically in a powerful, successful position in life which obviously varies hugely by the individual. I dont understand whats so hard about it, don't prejudge people by assuming they fit whatever the statistics or stereotypes say about their race, gender or whatever, because individuals rarely fit the stats perfectly. Its like people don't even think about why sexism is a bad idea and get caught in this "power + prejudice" shit and then use prejudiced ideas to decide to who is labelled with "having power."

Bottom line is: Women are not practicing enough/trying hard enough to make it into main tournaments so they bitch about it. So they create Female only tournaments. Nobody wants to watch silver plays so prize pool is lower, so they bitch about low prize pools as well. As a result - they complain about low prize pools but continue playing in female-only leagues without progressing or getting better.

Can you use your superior male brain to explain to me how GeT_RiGhT was straight up the best player of both 2013 and 2014 despite having literal 280+ms reaction times and a bowel disorder that made him look like the Michelin Man? The reason they aren't very represented in e-sports is that not many women play competitive games with e-sports scenes in the first place. I have no idea why so many people here can't wrap their head around basic maths.

It is relevant to what we're talking about now. You said that the roles men have had historically genetically predisposed them to be more fit for those roles than women. If that were true, then considering that fields such as engineering, mathematics, mechanics, construction have historically been male, it logically follows that men would be more fit for those roles than women. I was about to come into this thread to say that the solution to sexism isn't sexism via special treatment. But it must be seriously hard to get a foothold with all the immature sexists like SyntaX in gaming. The bombardment of childish shit must be unreal. I definitely don't agree with the "men have all the power" sexism, but, maybe women do need their own spaces to nurture a nascent female community until gaming is ready to accept them without flinging masses of shit at them for no reason.

Either have your own league and don't complain about low prizepool or participate in main league and do well. Can't be cherry-picking benefits from both sides: "Oh we will hold this one-mil tournament but only women can participate".
