Some Switch games won't have cloud save storage because of cheating concerns

Does the switch let you put saves on an SD card? If so I don't see how this is such a huge issue.

The third-party games are probably publisher drama that Nintendo is claiming this bullshit with so as to not say the real reason. Pokemon on the other hand is one of those cases where I feel like Nintendo simply don't understand audiences and intent with the franchise, and simply do blanket treatments to try to curb as much 'cheating' as possible with as little effort as possible.

theres no way to back up your switch saves atm. its not uncommon to lose all your saves if you send your switch to nintendo for repairs
