yesterday i found out that the phrase "so don't" gets censored, not sure what bad word is in that

it's a shame that all the marketing and related stuff for this game is so terrible, the game itself is very fun and (with some changes) could easily be one of the best battlefield games

if it's a blacklist of terms, it'll just look for a certain string. which is why ti-tanfall would probably work but titanfall wouldn't. It's just a yes or no check against a list of terms, probably with some smart rules about punctuation. It can't automatically see "itanfall" and impune that you meant "Titanfall". That'd be google level AI that just isn't practical to stick in a chat filter. Likewise no way in fuck is it automated, beyond maybe starting with a stock list of bad words like "fuck", "shit" "cock" and the rest of George carlin's repitore.

Also you ca'nt tell me censoring "White man" and no other group isn't stupid as fuck. Finding that suspect is not identitariansm, that's objection to identiarianism, when one group is singled out specifically for no obvious reason.

have you played a DICE game before ?
I tried typing "I suck with planes" and it came out as "I ******** planes". Trying to test this I tried typing suck, and that worked. I then tried every combination of letters before finding that the game censors, specifically, "suckw". I've seen nothing to indicate that this isn't just a broken ass chat filter but really a subversive attempt by DICE to push identity politics.

Probably to keep it as a homage to bf1942, where it was used to replace the flag due to German censors.
These rules were changed last month, but I would not be surprised if dice just wanted to leave them in
