Fucking pigs I swear to god, how do ypu keep defending them whenever they repeatedly prove they don't actually care about their job and use it as an excuse to murder?
No, more has to do with the private prison industry, not marginally suppressing democrats lol
What the fuck are you talking about? Do you people even read or process the context of the article or do you just base your entire opinion on the editorialized title? They issued an affidavit to search the home in which a crime was committed to find things that may be important to the case and they happened to find less than an ounce of weed. Point to me where the corruption is happening here. Please, do.
The amazing thing is that there is a huge possibility that it was planted too
They wouldn't of publicized the weed being found if it wasn't a criminal amount, unless they intended to sway public opinion on the guy.
The lawyer for the victim is the only one talking about it.
Who needs evidence to hate those fucking pigs /s You people really jumped the gun and should be embarrassed.
The police officer was already charged, arrested, and posted bail of $300,000 for manslaughter. She faces more serious charges once her case goes to Grand Jury. I think it's highly unlikely that finding a few grams of weed on the kitchen is going to somehow exonerate her. There's no way this chick ain't going to jail. Coming up with conspiracy theories to try and back up the attorneys opinion and calling the investigators pigs is unhelpful.
This case was weird before this allegation came out so I'm not surprised that people are supicious.
"huge possibility" Like, "It's happened before, I can see this" and "it's possible it didn't" someone having weed isn't a crazy a thing to me. I won't act like that's 100% the case. A cop was just involved in someones death and could going to prison, or at least face serious consequences from it. Are you really trying to say people shouldn't find this incredibly angering? The reason I'm particularly cynical is because of how bullshit her story sounds, none of it adds up at all. Plus, police doing very strange shit with evidence, I'll own up to jumping the gun on that, after all Police here do so much sketchy shit it's not even funny anymore.
"Benjamin Crump, a lawyer for Jean's family, said black people in America have been killed by police officers for simply "driving while black" and "walking while black." Now, he said, “we are being killed living while black when we are in our apartments.”" Is there a word for people who only see race? I mean it's unfortunate that this incident happened. Why should the man's race matter? It could have happened to literally anyone. Why bring up race? MIND BOGGLING
no there isn't. what it seems like is that the cop left some of her stuff in the appartment like the police bag or the bullet casings which were from her gun. releasing that they found an insignificant amount of pot was the police trying to bias the case as it had no relevance on the act or was even probably visible.
Alright then, tell me what you found in the officer's apartment since she is the one who committed the crime. Where's that search warrant
Because a black man was shot in his home by a white female officer. If you ignore race purposefully because you don't want to "get racial", you're removing context from the situation. Sure, the man being black and the officer being white doesn't have anything specifically to do with this, but trying to gloss over it either is stupid too.
If there was marijuana in there, then why did the cop think it was their apartment? Check-mate, coppers.
I'd actually like to see what the official write up is for the weed. Not that i don't believe someone would try to use it to discredit the case, but also just that i feel from reading the article there's sensationalized aspects. Just out of curiosity of trying to keep open minds.
Public opinion is irrelevant in a court case. Its not American Idol dood. Uhh, the bullet casings are probably the officers from when she shit him lol. Even then, bullet casings are not at all a suspicious item. Theres no warrant for her apartment because thats not where the crime happened. I genuinely can not believe you guys are buying into a sensationalist title and an attorney's ramblings.
I was talking about the weed Confused about this casing thing, of course thats why they're there Maybe i just didnt word my post right
Read the quote? The lawyer is obviously purposefully spinning it as if him being black contributed to the fact that he was shot...
Nope I didnt read your post correctly but my point stands. Planting a legal amount of dope does nothing to incriminatethe deceased. Its like noting he was parked in front of a fire hydrant. Why not drop a gun, or crack, or kiddie porn, or literally any other illegal substance? The whole idea of the weed being a plant is just retarded.
While that's true to say to an extant, you said this. And I explained. It is at this point nothing more than a descriptor. He IS and WAS a black man, she IS and WAS a white police officer. It matters in the context of the situation.
Race matters here just as much as the guy's shoe size. Unless there is proof this was a premeditated hate crime, then no, race does not matter in the context of the situation except for when the coroner is filling out the paperwork.
where's your botany degree
