TBF I honestly I quite forgot about that. Now Ivy and Harley are a thing in the comics I can see where they got it from, because they did connect and it did make sense because the writers for the show took the time and effort to be subliminal while also being implied very well.

I can't help but feel that the people bullying Frank for not making Bert and Ernie gay are the same types of people that bully bi and ace people for "not being gay enough." Tribalists will be tribalists.

That being said, it wouldn't hurt to bring some gay characters on the show, for the same reasons that SIRUS said earlier.
