speaking of Legos im finally getting around to finishing my Lego VW bus after 5 years....
I'm actually quite surprised Lego would do this. It's not like the market of adult collectors is even close to as profitable as the one aimed at kids and teens.
True, but kids/teens aren’t gonna shell out 500+ dollars on a fish

Yeah, I went to Brickworld in Chicago as part of a business trip earlier in the year and probably 90% of the displays were adults, they make insane creations consisting of thousands of block. I talked to a lot of retirees and older people who buy almost every new set and love the process of putting them together, and I even enjoy it when I get the time to do so, it's cathartic for me and a lot of other people.
