Star Wars Live Action Series Revealed: The Mandalorian

Armour that might be Boba's (he wasn't clearly described) was found outside of the remains of the Sarlacc, so he may or may not be alive in the canon.
ok but just what the hell does this have to do with the Mandalorian protagonist secretly being Boba Fett, being revealed at the mid/end season mark?
everyone already knows about that stuff and even expects Boba Fett returning ala Maul, but why would they hide it behind this guy for literally no reason?
Where was that mentioned? I don't remember any of that in the movies or cartoons?
Wouldn't be the first time a nerdy movie tries to hype up the obvious. I can't pull any example off the top of my head at the moment as it's literally 1AM, but if I remember any I'll bring it back here tomorrow morning.
Re-read my post, I edited it to be clearer.
Seems much more likely that he could be Cobb Vanth if he is anybody that already exists
Nah, he's going to be led to believe he's related to Boba and the Fett clan only to find out that his parents were filthy junk traders who sold him off for drinking money.
Aftermath is Cannon? Neat I wasn't aware.
It's in the novel Aftermath, since we're talking about Cobb Vanth.
everything post 2015 onward is canon
All the novels are canon.
I think it's far more likely that it's just gonna some guy we've never met before tbh.
Interested in seeing if we'll actually get a look at Mandalore itself during the series. Last we saw of it in Rebels it looked like most of the clans were uniting together in order to fight back against the Empire, so I'm wondering what kind of state it's they're in now that the war's over.
I wonder when they reveal his name? What if there really is a reason we don't have a name yet? Jodo Kast recanonized?
Huh, I swear I thought that novel was older. I stand dumb and corrected.
I feel like this is a compromise to bring back "Boba" without the stupidity of him climbing the Sarlacc pit, plus the creative freedom to make the character someone new. Kind of like Jango but without Boba as a kid sidekick.
Plus this character might actually be Mandalorian, unlike Boba and Jango.
Since this is set AFTER the empire dies, I wonder what's going to be happening with the whole surrendering to the Empire and Gar Saxon thing
