Scary mexicans? It's a gang, who cares what their ethnicity is. If I was a millionaire and I lived in a place where MS-13 is a concern you're damn right I'd build a panic room. Hell I'd probably just consider moving but, panic rooms are cool.
What the hell, since when? I grew up in Southampton and Sag Harbor, and never heard of MS-13 until today.
What a dill pickle.
I wanna say bullet buttons were mainly a California thing. SAFE Act allows for up to one AW feature iirc, which in this case would be the pistol grip. And regarding the Uzi, if the stock is pinned in place but the barrel length is still 16" and the overall length still 26", it should still count as a rifle. If you're doing that though, I see no reason not to get a solid wood stock instead of turning it into an awkward, clumsy piece of shit, particularly if you're using it as a "safe room" gun.
There was a reporter that documented trying to get a firearm in New York and after weeks and shit tons of paperwork, and even having a clean record and all of that, was still denied
Not anymore, it used to be you could have one AW feature, now it's none.
Pure speculation. Not trying to be a dick but it's as likely (if not more) that they're illegal than NY legal variants. I mean come on if these rich fat cats can afford a $200,000 bunker to protect them from a bogeyman they can afford to hide a pre-ban automatic M16 down there let alone a non-compliant AR-15 they bought in Vermont or some shit.
Pretty sure the greatest threat to the Hamptons is global warming so call it a silver lining.
