Emergency situation at Pittsburgh synagogue, reports of gunman

Solution: force 4chan to get rid of the nazi board(s) and make /pol/-tier posting bannable, or risk being blocked and/or held liable.
I have been looking at most of the races, and if I were to believe anything, the Democrats will get the house, Republicans will have the senate.
it's not a problem with right wing extremists, it's just a problem with extremists that are all from the right? gotcha
Not gonna happen. Not to mention they already attempted that, and people just migrated to 8chan, while crossposting every so often.
You seem to underestimate the power of anonymity.
If only they were reliable for giving a platform for terrorists to organise and spread their ideology, yes
Stop that. Within the last few months, the FBI has been working their asses off with arresting several people from all across the political spectrum.
A man following the ideas of Sortition, was arrested in NY with a 200lb bomb.
Another man was arrested for building pipe-bombs in South Dakota. He was a self-described Antifa.
This is what "revolution" "insurrection" and "rebellions" looks like. It's not Christmas. We are entering a period in this country, almost like the 70's and late 20's. Political violence is only going to escalate with further anger and resentment from all sides.
I previously asked if I needed to go dig up General Sherman, do you think I should grab General Patton while I'm at it?
You should stop violence, but using extremism to do so is like putting a bandaid on a bullet wound. It's not a permament fix. Sure, Milo and Spencer's voices may be silenced for now, but the alt right will just find new voices.
And while they've gotten more unpopular with the more level headed, their numbers still seem strong. I doubt our opinions matter to these people, anyways.
All extremism is bad. Even if it's understandable, or not as bad as violent extremism, it's still all bad.
We need leaders who can bring the country back together. There's an obvious divide here that's getting wider each day.
There literally was a report about this being true that i posted when someone disagreed. But i cant find it with the latest flux of rightwing terror attacks.
Antisemitism is not a partisan issue. It's just hatred that needs to be fought back.
El Presidente has made a typically shitty response to this, suggesting that death penalty laws be stiffened and that there should have been more armed people in the Synagogue.
I mean yeah but at the same time the context and motive matter. Like, is someone antisemitic because they were raised in a predjudiced household and don't know better or is it a guy who likes to hang out with his buddies and burn crosses on the weekends? Indeed, both are bad and need to be addressed, but one is clearly worse than the other. There's a lot of non-radicalized racists and antisemites that aren't going to go around killing people.
This is one minute away from where I did martial arts in high school, just up the road from my studio. Squirrel Hill is a very nice area that is predominantly Jewish; people would be walking in the streets comfortably in orthodox clothing and hairstyles enjoying themselves. This is incredibly saddening for the community and I'm upset that the area made it into the news because of an extremist nutjob massacring people for no good reason.
But you understand that it's not a binary thing? There's a range of predjudices. Your Grandpa that isn't comfortable around Asians because his time in a Korean trench isn't the same as a white supremacist going around lynching people. Should we go after the guy who is not likely to kill because of his predjudice with the same voracity as the guy who may already pose a threat to others because his predjudice?
Both should be shunned but one is more dangerous than the other.
That's fuckin' hilarious coming from you, the kid who fetishises all sorts of home-made bullshit arms and the 'grab sks go innawoods' memery.
Alright, that image made me cringe hard. Holy shit they are truly goners.
A better one: delete 4chan already, too many troubles have caused the world with their "trollings". In fact, I'm surprised the FBI/CIA/NSA haven't forced them to give up on the anonimity due how frequent any kind of offenses are there widely not only talked, but also prepared and coordinated.
Of course motive and background matters? How is that related to what I said.
Yes, republicans hate Soros, either because he's a leftist, or because he's jewish, or both, and use the antisemitism of their base to generate hatred against democrats through the character they built of Soros in their minds.
It's implying that both sides have responsibility in rampant antisemitism and general hatred of minorities that's just wrong.
Yeah that's what I mean by someone who is a "radicalized racist." You don't just wake up one day deciding you want to kill Jews or the blacks or whatever. It starts out small as an inherited belief or one gained through propaganda/radicalization. Of course "mild racism" is itself a radical position, I wasn't arguing that it wasn't. But my point was that it can be further radicalized to where you're acting on it.
Radicalization is a process on a spectrum. There are varying degrees of it. Some are clearly more of an immediate threat than others.
How about no? There are 67 separate boards on 4chan. If you have issues with one or two of them, it makes little sense to try to attack the entire site.
If you deleted 4chan they'd just move somewhere more obscure and even less monitored.
Like Hiro gives a fuck. Whatever flavor /n/ comes in (/n/, /new/ or /pol/), killing it will let them disperse to other websites, and I doubt t_d et all isn't going away anytime soon.
I think maybe there's some confusion here. I took your comment as a down play of the guys potential political motives. Instead focusing on the anti-Semitism as the core cause and not the suspects political beliefs.
My comment was an attempt to agree that anti-Semitism is non-partisan issue but is also driven to extremes for partisan reasons.
I think we agree and I'm just an idiot.
Lol this is comin from the guy who thinks hes an authority on military firearms because of a 3 year stint in a pathetic gutted scandanavian military.
Youre the absolute definition of an armchair general, so dont think youre above someone who has an actual interest with actual knowledge of that interest.
Perhaps the one dude we got here that's got a notorious fascination with rebellion, revolution, and the people, groups, and ideologies that partake, as well as the range of tools and weapons they use to achieve it, may offer an interesting perspective to all this shit going on and where we might be headed if we don't nip it in the bud.
"All sides"
No. Fuck off. This is not an all sides issue whatsoever.
I would like to hear your perspective on this. (genuinely, not condescending, which sometimes seems hard to convey through text)
Ignoring the idea that "da jooz" are controlling things and being evil puppet-masters, what sense does it make to attack a single synagogue of importance seemingly equal to any other? Like you would think you would attack more... higher level individuals?
I like how youre such a bigoted dickhead that you wont even give Joey the credit of having a hobby or interests. Instead you denigrate him and others like him for "fetishism" of sensitive topics.
Maybe grow the fuck up and quit acting like an shithead towards people you dont readily agree with.
Your inability to be reasonable or cordial to opposition is playing into a rhetoric of hateful dipshittery thats destroying all political discource. Thanks for being apart of the problem.
