Okay so you have one sortitionist and one anarchist. As a rebuttal I offer this very conveniently timed article from the Intercept laying out right-wing attacks linked to Trump alone. This doesn't take into account any actions or events that can't be tied to something Trump said or did directly. Riller's post was completely unwarranted and I've stood up for people attacking Joey on a personal level in the past but his perspective adds nothing to the conversation. No one made the claim that literally every single extremist is right wing, it's just mostly right wing extremism affecting the United States. It might be amicable to your personal world view and "interesting" in that light but thats it. Do you have any reasonable sources?

No offense but I actually laughed out loud after reading this post. It's extremism in general because you are including hypothetical leftist attacks that you feel are inevitable. Come on dude.
He doesn't think Trumps rhetoric goes far enough. Everyone is very quick to vilify the right based on the actions of a couple of terrorists but all that does is sow discord and make the situation in the US worse, the left and the right need to talk to each other because that's how western democracy got so great, you make your decisions together and point out the fringe elements and distance themselves from them. Unfortunately what seems to have happened is the far left shut down the conversation in the US by claiming anyone who disagreed were racist and to be discounted and were willing to use violent protest (as well as attacking people online and having them fired from their jobs etc for mundane reasons) then you have a president who decided to shine a great big spotlight on it and use it as a jumping point for his presidency further dividing the camps into hard left/right, now you have literal Nazi's coming out of the woodwork and shooting up synagogues and literal Communists trying to infect young minds with their ideology in academia. You guys are in trouble if you don't get back on track soon.
Not really, which is why I was asking. Seen a post on FB from a old conservative professor of mine and someone else who I think was parroting an early report heard on Fox News. I didn't get the chance to dive into this dudes social media accounts before they were taken down. (assuming they were, I haven't looked yet) but going off that picture posted earlier in the thread I'm guessing the dude was so far right that even Trump was in on (((Their))) plans. I'd like to see more of what was going through this dudes head, is all.
I mean, the Dallas BLM shooting was a leftist extremist attack. Saying terrorism is exclusive to any side of the political spectrum is disingenuous.

Wouldn't really call that a leftist terrorist attack though, he was a race supremacist. Besides, even if we were to count it, the right wing terrorism threat hilariously outnumbers the left the past decade or so. While the possibility of left wing terror is not impossible and terrorism isn't exclusive to any political ideology, left wing terrorism is so insanely rare it's almost a non factor, while far right terrorism is labelled by the FBI as biggest domestic threat in America.
Unlike how right wingers portray all muslims when there's an islamist terrorist attack somewhere uh. Your post is a pure stereotype, damn. Comparing right wingers commiting terrorist attacks and murdering innocent people, to college students having opinions you dont like, you sure proved us that the right is less dangerous and hateful with your examples right there.
No i'm not. There have been no attacks from the left, not like this anyways, but more and more people in general, or at least Americans, are starting to believe that extremism is a legitimate answer, and maybe the only answer. That's just from what i've seen, though, so maybe i'm just being irrational. I am afraid that the situation may escalate further, but that doesn't mean i believe there isn't a chance that it won't.
The left ISN'T pushing almost at all. They're being the bigger side and acting like adults for the most part while the right just flips their shit. Cult 45 is the best term I've heard to describe something in a long time. It is a cult. They're completely brainwashed to the point that their leader tells them what they're seeing and hearing isn't what's happening. That completely dismiss FACTS and go on chanting what they want to hear. And like everything on the planet, there's going to be those who are TOO Into it. And they're coming out and actually hurting people themselves while those who aren't are cheering policies that do Meanwhile the left are mostly taking the high road in the hopes that the blue wave and having majority control will solve it. But it won't. The tipping point was a bit more than 2 years ago. It's boiled over. The country is now divided and I don't think there's a way to solve that. If people are going to plug their ears and shout la la la la la at anything you try to tell them then there's nothing you can do
I just realized the readout on that chronograph in his header pic says 1488
The US has a right wing terrorism problem. The vein of reactionary, white-supremacist thought in the US' national conscience is rearing its ugly fucking head and has been for over two decades. You guys better get a grip on combating it soon or you will fall to the wayside under a mountain of racist, bigoted bullshit.
the guy who shot people used gab, a alt-right twitter/reddit hybrid. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHfFAevq8Cg they just got yanked off of webhosting by their provider. https://twitter.com/getongab/status/1056362626077220865
Well Eric Trump just condemned the shooting, so basically Donald has to say he supports it now.
I wonder if the shooter is a "proud boy". Anyone know?
Also the Comet Ping Pong shooter who wanted to go investigate a basement that doesn't exist.
And coincidentally it's exactly what the right does whenever anything that might even be perceived as a left wing attack happens. The issue is that the left DO try and talk to the right. But rather than even entertaining the idea of compromising the right has just stuffed their fingers deeper and deeper into their ears. I mean just look at Obama's presidency. He constantly reached out to try and work with the Republicans in Congress even when it meant making pretty unreasonable compromises and that was still not good enough for them to the point where they'd still just obstruct any attempts at compromise. People trying to act like this is just as much the fault of theleft as it is the right are being incredibly disingenuous at best.
Emily Gorcenski is one of the top experts on the rise and workings of the right wing extremists. Highly recommend following her to get an in depth understanding of this movement. She's worked diligently to uncover the connection between various groups, connecting specific people to specific crimes, and identifying in what ways these networks connect with each other. Along with some others, she's helped secure evidence for the convictions of a number of the Unite the Right folks. This tweet is dated back to June this year, and I think it's becoming increasingly relevant. The violence of the fascists has been steadily ticking upwards. https://twitter.com/EmilyGorcenski/status/1012426369417039873
The American right has never had a relationship to the American left that wasn't completely loaded. Google May Day. Google Kent State massacre. Google red scare and McCarthy. America was built on antisocial policies and violent reactionnary sentiment. You trying to frame socialist ideologies as mandarinate/indoctrination shows you're not ready to own up to it, let alone have this sane relationship which «made western democracy so great». You, from the outside, equating communists just existing to nazi terrorism goes to show the problem is absolutely not confined to America.
Well this one is a bit concerning https://twitter.com/EmilyGorcenski/status/1056437404519882752?s=19

Of course it is, which is why I never said something so ridiculous.

Retweeted Donald Trump blaming the media 3 hours ago. How can one person be so full of shit.
the tweet he made right after this https://twitter.com/ComfortablySmug/status/1056604370614280193 The fishhook theory holds true https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/112373/61205bc9-f91d-4072-963a-a9edc3c30b60/e63XAzB.jpg
2 far right nut jobs (first being literally insane and second guy being a literal nazi) in a week and peeps are like "hurmagur both sides"
have these people considered that it only seems like both sides are at fault to them because they're right in the middle of the side that's producing most of the violence
Federal prosecutors plan to seek death penalty against Squirrel ..
