A lot of people actually do lol, myself included. Not to mention the series does since its based on the books. too bad he doesn’t have the headband either
Too much forehead I think
this is where the headband would come into play. c'mon netflix, give the fans what we want. http://i.imgur.com/mTFw9O4.jpg
Looks too young and clean. I want the scarred up Daddy Geralt that made teenage boys around the world realize they were gay and gave girls a thing for dads
I mean if they're going for a young geralt that wouldn't make much sense would it
Doesn't work for me. The wig is too obvious

Every single fan mockup of Cavill Geralt was as Witcher 3 Geralt, it shows you how much people associated the look of the character with the game. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/297971/0c4cd89b-1f94-4071-ba0c-bc461fa78c0a/image.png
I think it looks okay in a general sense, but because it still looks like Cavill all I was thinking about during that clip was "Grandpa Superman's finally taking his meds!"
the biggest problem is that they havent added any significant scarring in makeup. He's a witcher, he's supposed to look like a mess.
Hmm, not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but if they do him justice in the writing it may grow on me.
WHAT IS THAT WIG SIS!!!??
Eh, I like that Geralt. I hope the Netflix Adaptation will be good.
I dunno. It seems to that in this makeup and with the young'ish actor choice they already got essential points of the series wrong. Geralt is a worn man, worn by the things he's seen, worn by the things's he's done , by his origins, his life as a witcher. A strong man, but nevertheless worn and a remnant from the high days of the witchers. A man holding his head up in a world that is moving on. That and his incredible age, by body through being a witcher, by mind through his adventures make the relationship to Ciri that is nothing but fatherly oh so more important for a man who can not have children by himself. Now casting a generic manface, the guy who played Superman, a character as flat as it can get in looks and behaviour just is bad omen to me.
Geraldo of Riviera He looks chubby and the hair def needs... weathering.
He looks fine. Personally though I would've preferred Zach McGowan. He has the voice for it too. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/234314392819204106/486852960140132353/FB_IMG_1536145144447.jpg
I know the games aren't the end all be all authority on how Geralt is supposed to look, but I still can't get over how much he looks like Legolas. That hair needs some serious work.
Why does he look unlempt and battle worn yet his beard looks like somebody sprayed hair through a gauge and reminds me of the transformers logo for some reason https://banner2.kisspng.com/20180208/fzw/kisspng-transformers-autobots-bumblebee-optimus-prime-logo-transformers-face-sticker-vector-5a7c13bc467662.5864431315180809562886.jpg
He doesn't have the eyes or scars, but the other thing is he doesn't really look comfortable or confident, so it feels awkward to look at
he doesnt look enough like a freak
I can dig it.
His armour looks like poop.

This is what bothers me. He looks like Orlando Bloom's character in Pirates of the Carribean was trying to cosplay Orlando Bloom as Legolas and the pirates character wanted to make sure he captured all of that Orlando Bloom charm He's a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude
the wig just straight up looks badly made, like a gaudy plastic hair weave from a drag race or something. it's just totally throwing everything else off
He also doesn't in Witcher 1 and 2, he only grows it in 3 because he's preoccupied.
Man. Finns really are the Hicks of mainland europe, aren't they?
Meh once you get into production with some proper lighting and post processing it will be fine.
just to be clear, my point was that I don't think the model aged well, not that his character is poorly written. it makes sense that most people will prefer witcher 3's model rather than the first game just because the character art work is much finer and more mature in the 3rd.
they can do a so called reverse sups and use expensive as fuck cgi to animate a beard onto him
Just take the moustache from Justice League reshoot and stick them on him whenever hes in a shot, at least he wont look like a LOTR elf
