Bethesda knowingly falsely advertised item in the Fallout 76 Power Armor Edition

Everything I've seen from this game leads me to believe Bethesda have literally no idea what they are doing and have coasted to their current position through luck alone.
Don't get me wrong, I love their older games, but looking at the complete fucking mess they have made of Fallout 76 I can't help but wonder if they turned out so well through good fortune as opposed to any level of skill.
Let me guess, accepting the 500 Atoms has some fine print saying you can't sue them for false advertisement?
Uh, I just realized, why does this game have a steel book case? The disk is blank
I thought the disc was cardboard
For pc it's a thin piece of paper with the code on it.
IT KEEPS GETTING WORSE AAAAAAA
Has there been literally anything about this game that hasn't been a hilarious train wreck so far?
Haha wow, this seriously reads like a parody. "We're so sorry about the response you got from our bad bad intern, we will fire him immediately! Anyway, we also don't care, fuck you here's some dirt." Try canvas duffel bag or full refund.
I'm talking about the FO4 one, what other pipboy edition is there?

This one, I think. I've heard its complete rubbish.
They couldn't be bothered to go scavenge enough cloth.
That looks terrible but I don't think it's bundled with a game. If I was gonna buy a pipboy I'd get the bluetooth phone case one personally, that's what I thought the pipboy edition was going to be like, but there's not even enough screenspace to use the phone...
It's not bundled, it's $150 separately.
Morrowind is overrated and I wish people would stop hailing it as Bethesda's perfect crown jewel when the game is mostly made of straight up busted mechanics and has one of the most obtuse, confusing and cryptic learning curves in any RPG of its type due to pure incompetence.
Every modern problem one can see with Bethesda existed in Morrowind.
They know what they're doing. Up until now their bad design, buggy coding and dated engine have all been excused with the excuse "what do you expect from Bethesda?". It was accepted that they're a terrible developer but nobody really called them out on it. They just thought they could get away with it again.
i'd argue the problem lies with bethesdas upper management not the developers
I'm willing to bet that they rushed it and didn't give the devs anytime
you call morrowind overrated yet say not a word about the narrative, do you think you're just not the target audience?
I've played through the entirety of Morrowind. I like it for the broken, fucked mess that it is, and I don't delude myself by pretending it's some kind of lost masterpiece. It was a buggy shitshow at the time and it's a buggy shitshow now.
The story stands out as a premise but its execution is barren and baffling. The parts that people remember fondly are separated by inane fetch quests and goose chases with little rhyme or reason to them. The world, for all the good the art direction does to it, is static and lifeless for the most part. The "narrative" is a lot less exciting and impressive once you realize you're mostly sifting through ghost towns trying to find stationary NPCs that either have nothing unique to say and have the personality of a pancake, or who loredump as much as they can on you in fat slabs of text.
all the narrative in the world cant make up for the rest if thats how you feel about a game
i never played morrowind so i cant have an opinion here
Or if you aren't into interior design or foliage, you can just use the atoms to buy a skin that has a nice bag.
Should offer some compensation.

Ah...
I'd be inclined to agree if this was the first time something like this happens but given the fact that the game has bugs that have been around since the launch of Fallout 4 and earlier it's getting to the point where I'm starting to think the problem isn't isolated. Just look at what they did when addressing a UI fault with the camera mode, the UI didn't change to accommodate new hotkeys for the prompts on screen so instead of fixing that issue they removed the ability to rebind keys relevant to camera mode.
I don't think it's individual coders or whatever that are at fault but I highly doubt that it's some upper management that's removed from the actual developing coming in and demanding that issues be fixed in the most incompetent way possible.
The problem is the game engine is still based on gamebyro. They probably should just let it go already.
I’ve played all the previous games thoroughly enough to recognize a lot of bugs in each of their games. Fallout and Elder Scrolls. I have serious doubts for any future Bethesda games if they stick to this engine.

The problem isn't the engine, it's that Bethesda doesn't know how to use it. I'm not saying that the Creation Engine is without faults but there are plenty of games built using Gamebryo that have none of the problems that Bethesda games do.
i just hope this disaster doesn't impact their other projects.
