Neil DeGrasse Tyson to be investigated following sexual misconduct allegations

I still wouldn't trust any media coming out of a station owned by an entertainment journalism parent company.
This reads like a nightmare for someone who's nerdy and has awkward social skills. The fear that being friendly or flirty with women would be taken as sexual misconduct.
Other than Amet's word, there is no evidence, witnesses, or paper trail of sexual assault or even attempting to report assault ("it was a long time ago" is a handwave excuse that could justify anything claim).
Everything else is just creepy or awkward behavior. That's it - it might be in poor taste or make someone uncomfortable, but that's just how social interaction is sometimes, we don't always know how other people will interpret our behavior and words because we're not mind readers. Guys might try to make a risque joke and it falls flat or someone misinterprets it. Being creeped out does not mean ten years later you can claim you deserve compensation or vicarious justice by ruining someone's career after he said "sorry I creeped you out I didn't mean to". Yeah it might be uncomfortable or awkward, but that's not the intent and there is no threat of violence.
I think Tyson responded the best way possible and seemed honest. I don't know what to think of Amet's claim but without any evidence or witnesses it's literally he said she said and we work off an innocent until proven guilty system.
