Netflix pays $100 million to keep 'Friends' through 2019

This is why I only use physical media 95% of the time. I like knowing that the stuff I buy is there on the shelf for me to enjoy anytime instead of being subject to short term licensing deals.
Never quite got into friends, but I suppose I should. I've always been more of a How I Met Your Mother person. I'm watching it again now for the 100th time or something. By watching I mean "keeping it playing on my tablet when I go to bed". It's a cozy TV-show, I dunno.
Well flight IMO was never that big of a deal since its 'just' flying.
Super strength however, while 'just' being super strength, can be portrayed in different and fun ways.
Oh so they'll buy another year of this shit but they won't make a season 4 of Daredevil. Okay then.
You were clearly told that life was gonna be this way. At least someone will be there for you now
fuck you guys friends is great
I recently finished watching Friends with my dad as its his favorite show of all time. I don't think it aged poorly. I don't agree that its the best sitcom ever or anything but the show
is enjoyable.
Here's a fact: Not everyone likes the same shows
My roomate watched Friends last winter. And you know what, I get it. I see why its entertaining. But I don't know if I like it enough to sit through and watch all the seasons of it.
I personally like Seinfeld a hell of a lot more. There's something about how it turns the mundane into ridiculous that I just love. It just resonates extremely well with my type of humor.
I’m actually sad that burn notice isn’t on Netflix. That being said though, I wasn’t really a fan in the direction they went with it. First season with the best thing ever because it was serious but also funny at the same time but after that it got a bit too serious and dark for my liking. Still a good show though.
OT:
Dont the actors of friends still get paid like 20m a year each for doing nothing because of how heavily broadcasted and viewed it still is?
Yes they do. I felt like after Weston finally finds and gets back the people who burned him it goes downhill but its still fun to watch.
Yep, same with Seinfeld. Syndication is surprisingly profitable.
