[AU] Sydney bus evacuated as woman passenger strips completely nude

Nudity in an of itself shouldn't be an issue for people
But instances of nudity where it clearly violates what people want to deal with in their own bubble should at the very least, be minimized
This is why we have nudist colonies after all
I think you miss the whole point of social norms and other cultural variables. It is easy to overlooking hundreds of years of norms and attitudes. I'm not even going to bother going in to depth on the subject because your comment is nothing but a bad opinion imo.
Do you know how rude it is to turn other people on if you don't plan on doing anything about it after?
I don't particularly care about the visual aspect of it, but if you're gonna get in physical contact with people or the surfaces they sit on, you better put at least some clothes on. Nobody wants to touch your sweat and shitstains, thank you very much.
I'm cool with people enjoying nudity and I totally understand it and I think it's irrationally portrayed in society (oh no! A penis on my violent crime drama? What is the world coming to!!) But I also think that nudity is something you do in private or among other people who are also enjoying their nudity like at a nude beach or a nudist retreat or something. I feel like completely allowing public nudity is potentially unhygienic and doesn't serve any benefit to the general society overall. But being naked outdoors at designated nude areas or at home is fine. I completely get it and enjoy it sometimes in the privacy at home, but do you really gotta be walking around town or shopping or dining with your dong out?
I hope you aren't serious about this
I don't enjoy seeing other people smoke, but that doesn't mean I'm going to push a public smoking ban.
What lazy excuse to not explain something, by bother even quoting me in the first place.
Why waste my time? It is pretty clear by your original post it lacks any thought, your responses are equally as thoughtless. All you've done is posted garbage opinions in some poor attempt to debate or edgy. You've done very little to actual defend your position in this thread. Why do I need to go in depth about societal norms and how nudity is viewed as acceptable and unacceptable in certain contexts?
To entertain your opinion with debate is to imply it has value, which it does not. You are clearly getting the subject of nudity and public exposure mixed up and I don't think nudist would appreciate you doing that.
I do enjoy how condescending you're being over an opinion I have, or how you even consider it a "poor attempt to [debate or] edgy".
I don't feel like I have to defend my opinion to be honest, I'm just not being a dick about it like you are.
Like with this, do you not realise how much this makes you sound like a pompous twat? I don't understand what you're even doing with this wording at all, you already stated you don't want to waste your time, what's the point in this part.
While I'm fairly sympathetic to arguments that clothing should be enforced, this isn't really convincing to me. How does that reasoning fit? Sydney's average temperatures are super mild, even quite warm, so how does that apply here? Why should we socially or legally enforce protecting yourself from the sun or cold? It's just not terribly persuasive. I think there are much better arguments (I don't trust you to sit your poorly-wiped ass on a public bus seat, for instance).
“normal”
lmao no, at that age he is describing, the human body has most likely already long reached its peak physique and is declining more and more, so no that is far from the “perfectly normal” body.
Master debating there, real galaxy brain level shit.
I feel like these people just like to argue for the sake of arguing, because having someone approach them and just strip naked would most likely fucking shock them out of the belief that it's a normal fucking thing to do.
i'm sure this healthy attitude will reap dividends as you age
I mean, I can't speak for anyone else, but I've actually had someone do that at my job this year and it wasn't that shocking of an experience. I was more surprised by how quickly the police showed up.
Oh nice I didn't even see this part.
Doesn't bother me because I'm not a baby about nudity.
Ah yeah, public nudity and then some guy taking his dick out specifically, that is the same thing, how fucking stupid am I.
Meanwhile you come out with this bit by quoting what I've said but you're just applying it to something else entirely, let's all put words in each others mouths and take it out of it's original context, that makes for a solid argument.
He says, while acting like a condescending douche.
GOOD GRIEF SHE'S NAKED!
CODE RED
EVACUATE
you dont do jokes well do you
The only reason it's uncomfortable is because you think it's uncomfortable. I'm pretty sure if you spent time around people in the nude, you'd adjust to it just fine. The only reason we think these things is because we're not used to it.
I'm not on either side of the debate here, I don't really care one way or the other, just wanted to point that out.
Its unhygienic. Especially in public with a lot of people, using seats and what not.
That would be gross.
That's why nudists typically carry towels with them.
Do you seriously expect people would uphold this standard in public if it were widespread?
It's already pretty much a universal rule among nudist communities. But I mean if you just wanna hold onto your idea of filthy nudists you can if you want.
It's also a universal rule to wipe down the equipment once you are done with it at the gym. Doesn't mean I still watch multiple people just walk away every time I go.
Well you better carry a towel with you then huh?
I thought nudists want to be free of carrying shit lmao
Id be willing to bet majority of people wont do this considering the general public.
Correct. I have zero issue with nudity in proper contexts. But I nonetheless don't want to ever have to stand in a line at Jimmy Johns behind some overweight 50 year old man with a harry unwashed washed asshole, nor would I want anyone else to be involuntarily subjected to such sights.
