IOI Interactive announces Hitman: Blood Money HD (and Absolution too)

The price on the remaster is ludicrous, but knowing their game sales were never great, including the latest Hitman games, genuinely hope IO can still stay alive.
I'm no marketing or financial expert but I think slashing the price even by at least half for the remaster, and then releasing another bonus piecemeal DLC for HITMAN 2 like in the first new HITMAN game would help them gain a bit more revenue while providing a more reasonable price for players.
It's the only Hitman game to give 47's chrome dome the justice it deserves

eh honestly youre right about blood money BUT i do believe that the missions they had you do in blood money were a hell of alot more interesting than the 4-5 (lol) you do in the new ones. isnt that sad? cmon you cant argue that Curtains Down had way cooler of a playthrough than most of hitman 2016 and 2018 (can we just call these hitman 1 & 2 from now on?) theres no doubt in my mind they took a much more lax stance on the story of the game. think of the Swing-King level alone--(even though its the tutorial lol) the level is so goddamn dark and that theme kinda follows 47 through the whole game.
in the new ones just about every guy you kill is set up to be the biggest villain in the world-- extinction level disease makers or mafia head bosses all leading up to the final Illuminati type badguys. while its fun and all, to me it just becomes cliche?
also i love in the Isle of Sgail how every snobby rich person there is pretty much a super liberal millenial, despite being in a remote Illuminati CULT. you can tell the newer games atleast are written by people who've forgotten the artistic and deeper side of the Hitman series and turned it into some sort of secret James Bond mission to save the world. this wouldnt be so bad if the voice acting wasnt so goddamn CORNY.
like cmon theres not ONE italian in Sapienza. NOT ONE. how am i supposed to enact a badass Godfather hit on some poor paisano from the homeland when everyone sounds like generic white guy or british lady
They both have their strengths and weaknesses.
IMO Blood Money's story is a bit crappy some of the weapon mechanics are a bit jank, but who plays a hitman game for story?
The best part about Blood Money for me is nostalgia tbh. I remember sitting with my friends when I was like 10 years old on the PS2 playing the mission with the birds in the costumes, and just running through the crowd with an m4.
