"To hide the charge"
as if it looks any less ugly as sin either way, come on lmao
Just because it's a flaw that can be avoided, for example charging the mouse overnight, doesn't mean it's not a flaw.
There's no reason that port couldn't be on the side of the mouse.
"bug"
With all the hard-ons for surveillance these days, I doubt that it wasn't intentional
Considering Apple’s own stance on the matter and their past history of refusing to cooperate with the FBI and the like, I don’t think it’s that likely.
I hope so too. I don't trust a lot of companies so I get a little skeptical whenever stuff like this happens.
For the mouse, I'd mainly take issue with the fact the cable naturally bends. Apple cords are notoriously shit and get severed connections inside constantly.
Also the mouse was a piece of shit anyway; I hated those fucking things back in the Animation/Art Labs back at Uni and Highschool.
No.
The EFF still rates them as one of the highest with regard to security-history and refusal to cooperate with federal data requests.
imagine being this much into apple's arse to not admit it is the stupidest design in history.
this is what they have done to people, they have created a concept of fanboyism which goes beyond any common sense and care for electronics.
you can show your school mates how cool you are, but at the end of the day you are charging your dumbass mouse upside down.
The biggest problem i have with the pen is if it were to get knocked while it is plugged in the connector will just snap off.
There's always inductive charging.
