I'm not sad. Dude had a great career and is retiring with a smile on his face. I don't think he ever said anything mean or caused any sort of controversy, which is rare in this day and age. I just hope Bowser will follow in his example.

my body is not ready
If you're looking for a swift kick to the gut, 2019 E3 will be the first E3 since 2003 without Reggie.
More like new game+. I'm wishing Reggie the best of luck in the future.

I want Reggie to kick my ass
Good move, bad execution. Nintendo needs to give millions to a man that was clearly born from an otherworldly evil! But seriously now, hope everything goes well for Regis and Nintendo America is left in good hands.
Man this monologue is so accurate. He makes such an actually good point with amazing presentation. The truth is, the game is fun. And if it isn't fun why bother? I feel nintendo has always tried to live on this mindset and to me it shows the most in their trailers. The trailers for their games are almost always : video of gameplay with music over it. I believe it is the best formula and has countless times gotten me waiting for months for whatever game it is to come out because of the catchy music and fun looking gameplay. Thank you Reggie
Bowser Worth it
It's that time again... https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/156591486828412929/548235778375811072/1550777469992.png Thread theme
Re-sharing this because it's emblematic of the fun Reggie and everyone else had with their positions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wdRes2ixXX8
It's surprising to see him leave after all these years. At least he gave us some good memes and was a cool guy overall. I dunno if the new Bowser guy will be as good as him, but I wish Reggie the best of luck outside of Nintendo.
Aw man, I'm gonna miss Reggie.
Now who will pester about Mother 3 to?
I imagine people would pester Reggie about it as a joke, but for Bowser I dunno how how'd react.

Reggie was genuinely too good and honest for the garbage state this industry is in.

*salute* You kicked ass and took names, Reggie.
I didn't know Anthony Fantano's dad was still alive
Nintendo's execs are actually good people, which is rare for this industry and explains why they operate the way they do. Iwata in particular was an absolute paragon of ethics. It's part of why Nintendo is #1.

Hello, gay Bowser

You know, it's hard to figure out what things done by a company are actually a result of a specific person in charge, good or bad. It's possible that a lot of the fun sketches and jokes associated with Reggie were completely written by someone else and he just performed them, we just don't know enough about behind the scenes. It's also possible that some of the less favorable things associated with Nintendo of America were Reggie's fault. Ultimately though, publicly he brought a lot fun to Nintendo. And retiring is usually a good sign, it shows he doesn't want to continue making as much money as possible until he dies.
