Thats not even mentioning chromosomal disorders that cause biological women to be born with XY chromosomes, klinefelters syndrome which causes men to be born with XXY chromosomes. Defining sex purely by chromosome is dumb reductionism. The age old saying "if it quacks like a duck, swims like a duck, and looks like a duck" is probably the best way to go about it.

Which is also a dumb repeat of the chromosome argument. Furthermore on a technical level it is in fact incorrect. To make someone genetically female, theoretically all you would have to do is cause the Y chromosome to not express itself (this is possible, as evidenced by aforementioned XY women). So no, it was still factually incorrect. I thought you were going to sleep?

This isn't the case for all trans people, but for of them, their dead name is deeply tied into dysphoria as a trigger; i.e., being called that name can instantly trigger dysphoria in some people, which can sometimes be (very, very) bad, seeing as dysphoria actively contributes to extremely high suicide rates. That aside, for the rest of trans folk, while ideally they wouldn't have to hide themselves from public view, that's just not a luxury that a lot of them have. Murder rates of transgender people are extremely high, and being called by a dead name can literally instantly out someone to everyone around them. But honestly, it just boils down to basic respect and decency; If you're calling someone by a dead name, that means that you actively put in the time, effort, and research to be a dick.
