Most gun safes are codes or biometrics for a reason.
As soon as you cite my post where I claimed that "50%+" of cops are child abusers, thanks. 😇
Your post assumes that cops are more often than not abusive toward their children. That'd be at least 50%.
It's the way you worded it.
I took it as you half of the police force are abusive too.
the word "likely" doesn't imply majority, it's equivalent to "Some" or "many" (both of which only mean "at least 1").
"More likely than not" would be 50%.
kinda implied tho. should watch the language.
Oh I've only seen key locked ones.
If only the kid had used a Molotov, the father would have been unharmed.
I really hope they don't latch onto the video game angle, but you know old media, they love to run "VIDEO GAMES KILL PEOPLE"
It's very clear this kid has significant mental issues from the very start if him torturing his family pet is anything to go by.
yawmwen is that you i missed you bu-
oh its just mingebox 😒
cite credible sources to your statistics or I'll yeet you into oblivion
this kid is a fucking psychopath.
Why the fuck are you blaming the kid? The father caused his own shooting by taking the games, something that's a big no-no ESPECIALLY when he more than likely saw the dog getting tased.
time's up, get yote
Keeping gear and weapons in your car as permanent storage is pretty bad idea. It is more for secure transport as you will always be near or in your vehicle. I mean, it would be a bit more acceptable if the squad car was garaged. But, not by much. In this case it wouldn't have prevented anything because the kid still managed to get the keys to the gun rack.
Only way to keep your firearm safe when not in use is the safe, the shooting could have been prevented. I'm not sure if the violent act could have been prevented, it really seems like the kid has some issues.
Wrong.

Sorry, he just said some really dumb shit. You need to accept that.
He has had a few posts that are edgelord tier and pretty stupid. I'm not shocked.
I'm lending no credence what-so-ever to the possibility of cops being statistically more likely to abuse their children until it's backed up with a credible source, but this story does make me wonder if there was any abuse going on because there is no way the only thing going on was the dad taking away his video games. Not saying that's the only way this could happen, the kid could very well just be a sociopath (I mean he did taser the fucking dog) and none of this is the parent's fault, but it does make me wonder.
Tested the taser on the dog...
This kid would have shot up his first workplace. It wasn't about video games, that's just what tipped him over. Kid's fucked up

A few studies have shown DV rates of officers sitting ~40% and have also heard that used as the reason that laws prohibiting domestic abusers from owning guns don't get passed. Haven't seen anything on childhood abuse stats though
