This is particuarly shitty, as Javid make certain that her kid still kept their British citizenship whilst stripping her citizenship. Her parents were trying their hardest to get the kid back over here at the very least, because they're a fucking child and don't deserve to suffer in a refugee camp whilst they have a "stable" nation they can return to. But uhhh, government dragged their feet. Because "lmao fucking muzzies" probably. Because the Tories aren't exactly paragons of humanity.
This makes me curious, doesn't Syria have the jurisdiction over her because she was part of a Terrorist organization in their Territory?
As we have made her stateless she isn't really under anyones jurisdiction. No one is now responsible for her, Syria won't do anything about her seeing as shes just some Jihadi bride and they have bigger issues than chasing down some 19 year old girl and her dead baby.
Doesn't she have Bangladeshi citizenship? I feel for the child if it truly died, was the only really reason I believed that they should bring her back to try her and lock her up in a cell.
Just because this is an international forum doesn't mean you should assume two very different societies and governments would handle things the same. The Netherlands thinks if he comes back he gets jail and being closely monitored for the rest of his life, not to mention a probable no-fly mandate keeping him out of most of the civilized world. The UK thinks she should rot. I'm not saying that's right, but there's no way to criticize either in contrast to the other because it's strictly different process.
Based on her parents she had the possibility of applying for Bangladeshi nationality. But theyve already said no.
