That was a specific example. Teslas in general have some pretty funky design choices that make no sense at times. I blame the fact they're trying so hard to be the car of the future instead of just making good cars and ignoring the market wank. Which isn't 100% their fault, the average consumer is a drooling moron who thinks big SUVs are the best thing since sliced bread so I understand why they have to do it but still. I'm personally more excited for the Euro and Jap automakers to be pushing out their own EVs and next-gen hybrids similar to the tech in the BMW I8 and such.
New cars are pretty good all around now apparently.
Apparently there was a teaser pic of the pickup that everyone missed. https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1106714774694297601?s=19
Looks either really good or really fucking bad
It just looks like a square to me.
I can see how that might be the front of a truck, but I don't see anything that would resemble a windshield or cab of it, it just looks like a square. I'm left with more questions than before.
I think it's the bed, actually.
Behold, my AI generated rendering featuring the full body design based off the angular vectors taken from the azimuth of the headlight fluids. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/109738/24c13478-ec0f-45af-903f-4928f98cdffe/image.png
