He was actively trying to execute every single one of them; he somehow managed to do something even more malicious than your typical mass shooting. He appears completely mentally stable. He wasn't in a frenzy. He's calm the entire time. He executes people that no longer pose a """"threat"""" after they're already on the floor.
And NEARLY EVERY SINGLE FUCKING POST IN THE 8CHAN THREAD IS EGGING HIM ON AND CALLING HIM EPIC, EVEN AFTER THEY REALIZED HE WAS BEING SERIOUS.

PewDiePie should distance himself as much as, and as soon as possible from this before the media wakes up tomorrow. God knows he's done some stupid shit before but this is major.

I watched the video and I regret it and I feel like I'm having a fucking panic attack at how evil this fucker is.

This guy and the other people that are egging him on are horrible people but they are far outweighed by the amount of people willing to help. Look at the people in this thread, many of us have no connection to anything going on with the shooting but we still care and mourn the people lost because it's the decent thing to do.
Why do we give these kind of folks a place to breed their hate? And for what? The dead and terror of ideals. This has shown that these kinds of sites are only cultivating folks and indoctrinating them into doing such monstrous things.

Pewdiepie needs to distance himself not just from this but from the alt right in general. Maybe I've missed something but, whether or not you believe he's a racist or a nazi, he certainly hasn't done much to dissuade his racist nazi fans of that.
I realize that the shooter using a pewdiepie meme isn't pewdiepie's fault, but, he should at least stop guys like this and guys who think like this from thinking the biggest youtuber on earth is 'on their side'.
I think that Fred Rogers quote is more applicable towards the guy in real life who tried to rush down the shooter. That guy is the real 'helper' in my book.

Yeah like, no one's downplaying how devastating this is to the people, victims, and their families but can you imagine having a meme involving your name referenced by a terrorist pre-attack? He literally didn't do anything and I'm sure this will be brought up against him for years to come.
I don't even like pewdiepie but I cringe at the thought of being a massive public figure and getting a shout out by the attacker by name in one of the biggest quotes associated to the attack.
