Young people should actually vote then.
kinda hard when there's too many old people and not enough young people to make a difference.
There's no incentive to over here. Conservatives blab about future generations yet have very little interest in the average student because they know they're likely to vote Labour / Lib Dem. Then there's Labour, who throw empty promises into the wind and are currently one of the worst oppositions we've ever had, so while the 'but they're all the same!!!!' belief is nonsense, there is merit to the fact that young people are discouraged from voting before they even turn the legal age. Also, it doesn't help that political education relies either on parents or the biased school - from like 11-16, most kids I spoke to said "I'd vote _ because my parents vote for them", and the school never even tried to encourage political discussion. College was the same. Hell, we had a practice election in college and 98% of people voted Labour because of the region the school was in, rather than because of actual policies. The UK has a terrible problem with an inactive government, yet no one seems to comment on it. Some people my age don't even know what the Lib Dems stand for because education on the political landscape is, at best, 'There's left, and there's right...oh, uh, yeah there's centrists but don't pay attention to them.'
That god damn image is going to be made into reality, isn't it? The internet packages one.
No CBT? Aight, Im boutta call the cops
So if I understand this correctly, it's not exactly illegal to watch porn, its going to be illegal to host a commercial porn site without age verification. In which case it will be impossible to ban every single website available, as only the biggest players will really have any risks. I'm still not getting punished if I go on some website that isn't on the ban list. I will get worried when they start punishing the consumers for watching porn, and GL with that.
