Man I jokingly asked them if we could have Bloodlines 2 after Victoria 3 like two or three days ago, and now I wake up just to see it's announced. Y'all can thank me when it's released my dudes
The usual triggers: “politics” and “gender pronouns”.
Jesus christ! Looking at the steam forums caused my brain to sound of several alarm bells. I've read comments mentioning race-mixing and cultural marxism two times too much on there. Why is the game even attracting right-wing individuals?
What heresy is this
They do know that Bloodlines 1 had a ton of political stuff in it, right? You even had that commie girl who was with the Anarchs.
I am saying do not play them your first time.
and I am saying the best malkavian playthrough is the first one
Now we just need the SiN episodes to be complete and Half-Life would really be left in the dust
holy shit this makes me so happy
I'm actually kinda surprised this isn't a Kickstarter, I wouldn't expect investors to back something that is honestly a game that's honestly so little known right away at an AAA price point.
Quickly! Pre-order before it becomes an epic store exclusive!
Because Stephen Miller is one of the few remaining vampires and he works for Trump. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/242634/6b34f82a-ac48-487a-9e07-b2e79335082f/image.png I'm actually really surprised to see Paradox doing this. I've really only known them for Hearts of Iron and EU in recent years. Hopefully they can pull a Creative Assembly and make a game as good or better than Alien Isolation. Oh, this woman from the first game confused 13-year-old me: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/242634/34acf04b-eeb3-4894-8a0b-9edef8a5b425/image.png Finally, Malkavians are the best race to play due to the wonderfully written dialogue.
That is absolutely perfect
/pol/ always liked to make memes out of Paradox games, i imagine it got linked there because Paradox got cucked and doesn't think remove kebab jokes are funny anymore >:( https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/106981/a60054c6-d65c-42ce-ab40-b232e81669aa/image.png
Paradox bought White Wolf back in 2015, so they own the rights.
She confuses my current age me in the special place.
Conservatives don't like things that don't cater to them I guess
Oh sweet babby jeebus YES, preorder finger like a hair trigger.
This character is honestly awful though
wow, of course its something so god damn minor. But what else do you expect from the "I don't like politics in videos, so here is a political rant for the next 6 years about said video games" crowd
Oh jeeze, you start out as a Thin Blood. That's some funky shit. If you don't know, they're basically humans with weak vampire powers, but also have the ability to kinda... bullshit up abilities
A sequel to a game where you can either side with an aristocracy or anarchists is political? say whaaaaaat
Honestly I'd love a hard mode where you just play as a normal human with no powers.
There isn't even anything particularly socio-political in what the spokesperson said. It's about technology vs tradition, not left vs right. And are people really upset that a character creator lets you create a character?
Holy shit I had to read that title twice and then I almost fell from my chair Where the fuck did this come from FUCK YEAH BLOODLINES
Yeah, I watched someone calling it leftie garbo and I had a good laugh because by their standards the first game is too, definitely. Since, y'know.. the Anarchs exist and are mostly right by the end of things.
Now listen here you anarch piece of shit, the Camarilla has your best interests at heart.
I mean, that's objectively wrong by the end of the game, even if they were all set up by Smiling Jack, you still find out that La Croix and the Camarilla did not have noble intentions for the Sarcophagus and their actions to get a hold of it were half the problem throughout the game.
The character creation sounds really cool. Embracing that extra modular amount of details really gives it that tabletop vibe and really gives you an opportunity to roleplay a larger variety of characters.
LaCroix is a one-off example, you can trust the Primogens and the Tremere absolutely. Realtalk though, I feel like people are already forgetting the first-games flaws and strengths, of which it had many in both categories.
