See, this is literally what I'm on about. You've said that they're not SJWs but they can be. These groups are both simultaneously SJWs and not SJWs with the only differentiating factor being the interpretation the person applying the label decides to take. And can you guess what happens? People start applying the label to groups they don't like. Remember when Anita Sarkeesian first appeared offering her feminist theory about games etc? Say what you want about her views, disagree all you like - there are completely reasonable criticisms of her work - but all she did was offer an alternative narrative that people disagreed with. Like you said, you apply the term to "crazy" political opponents. You want to know what happens then? People start flippantly applying the term "crazy" to people based on their political beliefs. You only need to look at Bernie Sanders and especially Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. You know how many major outlets have labelled either of them crazy for just being politically opposed to the Republicans or just being actually left wing? A lot. Trump even christened Bernie Sanders with the "crazy" label himself. The fact is that the only difference between someone being just political opposition and being an SJW is how hard you disagree with them, or in most circumstances, how hard you don't actually understand what they're talking about.

I feel like I traveled back about 5 years because this is what it was. Now "SJW" is just literally a harsh word I only ever see used in spite against anyone with a progressive mindset. Like, anyone who says "hey, maybe racial police brutality is a thing" or "there's a wage gap" or "maybe there's nonbinary genders" is labeled a "SJW." TBH, even, that word has even died down in general, just skipped straight to "liberal" and making that a bad thing.

No, I did not. He said that sjw is used as a catch all insult for several groups of people, so I explained what I meant when I used the word to give my post context. Mine and many other's definition. That was my point. What I actually meant is that the groups of people you mentioned can sometimes be sjws by the definition I gave. I do not care if people misuse the word, that is not going to change what it means. And when I say they are crazy, I mean they are the kind of people who obsess over and harass others for disagreeing with them. Are you going to tell me these people do not deserve the label of crazy? And to any sane person, that's what it still means. Again, when I said crazy, I'm talking about actual crazy people, not just anyone who happens to be on the left. Personally, I do not like letting cunts decide what words mean. I am not going to stop using a term in its correct meaning just because jimmy cockface wants to appropriate it to smear anyone he does not like. That's... the whole point. If your definition makes them SJWs, but also doesn't make them SJWs, and it's entirely arbitrary depending on who's using the word, then that's a shittily defined, unclear term

Okay, let me explain myself then. Being an sjw is something that those people can be be, besides whatever they already are. SJWs are insane, obsessed people who are also very far left. A progressive can be an sjw, but not all progressives are sjws. Simple as that. The definition I gave is the original meaning of sjw. Unimaginative retards use it as blanket insult but like I said, I don't care about that. I use it in it's original context because it's a useful descriptor to a very specific type of person and I refuse to let said unimaginative retards warp the meaning of the word into another of their words like they are doing with "liberal" and "cuck".

Your definition is so vague and vapid that it is utterly meaningless, infinitely useless, and can be applied to literally anyone because the definition of it is so drastically broad.

Here's what SJW means. A person who fights for Social Justice. A concept of fair and just relations between the individual and society. How about just call the ones who are being fucking annoying. "Fucking Annoying". Cause labeling them as SJW in the sense that SJW means "Angry Blue haired Tumblr poster" just completely fucks up the concept of Social Justice. Cause i imagine a lot of fucking people believe in the concept of Social Justice. And continuing the use of the bastardized form of the term "SJW" is fucking stupid. It should be stopped being used in that form, period.

The original meaning that which I use has nothing to do with the warped definition. The warped definition, as you said, is actually meaningless. It's a generic insult with no definitive meaning. The original definition refers to a very specific group of people with very specific characteristics. I already explained this twice and I am not doing it again. Neither of us is willing to change our position so there is no point in further arguing. I apologize for derailing the thread and since I already explained my point, I will refrain from returning here. On a last note, the idea of tarnishing the concept of social justice is an interesting perspective actually, it would make for an interesting discussion in the future.
