And I told you right there and then it's not this particular tidbit, it's the fact that despite it being blatantly obvious with a 2nd Spider-Man movie being announced it's still technically a spoiler. Since I'm trying to stay spoiler-free for a change, I'd rather not take my chances at some random asshat posting a real spoiler in those responses. Had too many movies spoiled by assholes posting spoilers in random places before.
Dude are you seriously asking this question. Like, dude, you need therapy if you unrionically think this is okay I'd be pissed to high hell too if it was spoiled for me but dude
I wouldn't beat someone up for this, but I really wouldn't stop anyone from beating up someone who for no reason other than wanting to ruin something does this.
if you only enjoy movies cos you want to see who dies or not then youre enjoying movies the wrong way theres a lot more to movies than just knowing which characters dies or not; theres the soundtrack, action scenes, humor or otherwise intense scenes, overall atmosphere etc. Hell i read the spoilers for IW myself and still enjoyed that movie cos the last 5 mintues were still more haunting that i couldve expected(and the overall movie was fun) people need to stop obsessing about character death spoilers this much, its fucking ridiculous lmao. sure getting spoiled about a character death can be lame, but theres no reason to say the entire movie is ruined for you cos of it, esp with a marvel movie - all marvel movies are predictable as hell anyway
nah fam i hate this argument like yeah i get what you mean but knowing what happens in a movie is a huge part of the experience. That's the main reason this one is so big: we wanna see what happens. Yeah, it's predictable. No, shit.  We know they'll win. We wanna know how. Just lemme enjoy thing how I wanna enjoy thing. Part of the experience for me is that suspension of disbelief of "what will happen?!" So, if that gets ruined for me, hell yeah I'm going to be upset.
i literally said spoiler for character death, not overall story spoilers, since character deaths are the spoilers that are easiest to spoil for people if a character death spoiler will ruin an entire movie for you and you arent able to enjoy anything else in the movie cos of that, that sounds pretty goddamn dull. knowing a character dies doesnt reveal anything else about the movie, nothing about the plot, about how the final fight will go down, about the action scenes, or how enjoyable the overall movie will be to watch. theres still a lot left for you to get out of a movie, and if you think otherwise then yes, u are enjoying movies in the wrong way cos youre ignoring the fact that theres a whole 2-3 hours of shit that you can experience and appreciate. and i mean ''enjoying in the wrong way'' in less of an aggressive, demeaning way and more in the sense of giving some new perspective; dont be fixated on how spoilers can ruin everything about a movie and remember theres still a lot you can get out of a movie when you actually watch it
All hail violence culture!

Imagine defending drawing someone's blood over spoiling what's probably the least suspenseful type of movie. Spoiling, say, Memento or Usual Suspects could take away quite a bit from a first viewing experience, but this is a Marvel superhero movie. You can guess the gist of it without seeing it and while viewing it you can generally predict how the next 10 minutes are going to turn out.
Honestly would've been funnier if he just got banned from returning to the cinema in question.
i got banned from tower unite's globa chat for saying "thanos sucks a wee wee"
You should probably tag that.
i will not back down
Man, wtf is with the desk layout in that classroom?
The point isn't the fictional outcomes of a movie, it's letting yourself enjoy the story and get sucked in. Why even bother let heroes get into danger in books, movies and games when we all know they survive, by your logic? Why even try to enjoy if that's your view going in, that it doesn't matter. It's suspension of disbelief and just having fun with it.
The thing is the stakes are always the same in marvel super hero movies, the world/universe is going to end, heroes are always brought back from death. Instead of using wits to win the day they just use some magical item to like go back in time and change their actions so the evil bad guy cant complete his plan. Stories would be much better with more grounded stakes with actual consequences to what happens.
Dude I get you're being vague but can you not put Endgame spoilers in this thread, bc I'm p sure you just posted some
