Oh I 100% think him getting help would be better, but he's not listening to anyone. TheAlicePika, Sky Williams, all of his friends have tried. He's been sent to a institution twice already and now the cops have taken him. He's chased off everyone that loves him and I can't expect people to dedicate their lives to someone who doesn't want to change. That's not fair. And when they're getting drowned out by clowns that are going "YES ETIKA YOU ARE A GOD KEEP BELIEVING IT" it's like shit, this isn't going to stop until he's done something more drastic than swatting himself.

If you look at Etika's page he's getting a lot of support and there's shit just like this. People are changing their handles, making excuses for his behavior saying it's all a ARG and that they trust that their favorite youtuber/streamer is just doing a epic prank when he's not. I really don't like the idea of even a small handful of people trying to mimic him just to get his approval.

I said that with how bad things have gotten and with all the encouragement to get even stupider I don't see him backing down or wanting to get the help to stop this. I'm saying that if something happened I wouldn't be surprised. That's it.
I want him to go away from social media. I want him to get offline and away from people that enable him. He clearly doesn't give a fuck about the people that care about him as he's blocking everyone that shows a iota of concern while soaking in all the comments telling him to go crazy. He needs to get away from that because he is doing this for attention. He's literally posting about how he gets to trending so easily. It's not helping him at all.
There are which is why I was concerned for his health for awhile. TheAlicePika, Sky, Shofu, literally all his friends got his back in October of last year and helped calm people down while getting him checked in. He came back and after a couple months decided that he needed to do this again. This time TAP, Sky and a few others just voiced concern saying no this isn't actually normal and got him checked in. Etika didn't want to stay the entire month long duration so he left after a week because he didn't WANT help. This man does not WANT to be helped which is hard to hear. He, from reports, got physically abusive with his EX which made her give up, told Sky to fuck off and blocked him, and got rid of the rest of his network of real ass friends before doxxing himself and getting arrested (only to come out fine a few hours later where he instantly got back on his bullshit).
Who's left to take a dive to send him to a place that can help him? He's literally disconnected himself from everyone that wanted to try. Etika has made it a very clear point that he doesn't think that it's not normal and that he loves the attention it brings him.

I'll stand by my original point but reword it to be more clear. I do not care about Etika's content but I had hoped he had got the help he needed because really- he needs it. But he has isolated himself completely, alienated everyone that cares and is now running to people like Keemstar because he wants as much attention as possible on himself. If there's a way that he can get locked up for the full month (or honestly more at this rate) and get the help he needs I'm for it- but as it is right now I don't see a healthy way of coming back from this. The Etika people loved is gone and I hate that he has a real ass influence on a younger audience that see this as nothing more than a game.
I wish there was a way to keep him off the net for a good long while so he stops attention seeking and gets actual help but I don't think that's going to be the case. He's going to keep pushing to see how far he can go, make more suicide tweets and photoshop himself with more guns. He's going to keep breaking down because he can't step away unless he's forced.
I am mad but this situation is outright tragic for multiple reasons.

Etika's twitter over the past 2 days is nothing but ramblings of a madman. It's like someone whose long lost coherent thought trying to convey things to speech. You can physically read someone losing their mind.
I'm not saying he doesn't have BPD, just want to note that it seems like a very bad case of BPD that requires immediate attention from mental health professionals and i say that as a diagnosed BPD individual who used to have meltdowns and threatening suicide among other stuff to friends, in my bad days.

Right. My underlining point is that TAP, one of the last remaining people that wanted anything to do with him said "this isn't my job I'm out" just leaves me wondering *who* can actually help him. Relatively speaking before he attacked a cop all he had left were people calling him a clown, or people telling him to go crazier in a echo chamber.
There wasn't anyone left to try and help him. That's why I flat out said "Hey do you think him reading a million "get help" comments is going to do anything?" It's not me trying to be mean- it's just me saying that he's not going to listen. He needs to stay off social media where he can use his past popularity to keep feeding his mania. People think getting involuntarily committed is easy. It's actually really hard to get involuntarily. As a minor they'll 5150/5250 your ass in a heartbeat because of the legal ramifications but as an adult good luck.
Essentially, this guy could be batshit insane. But if he refuses to go in voluntarily then it would require a 5150/5250 and good luck with that.
