You know, i wouldn't be surprised if one day they merge.
these devs are some of the best devs around. I "Indiegogo"d this game when it was launching, almost a decade ago. When the game came to steam, and I found myself without a working copy of the game, I sent an email to the devs telling them I was a backer, and I was hoping to get a Steam Key, but if not, I'd happily buy another copy of the game because I loved their work so much. They sent me two keys, one to give to a friend, and one for myself. They are genuinely some of the kindest, and most thoughtful devs working in Game Development right now.
I love Factorio but it seems to me I get to a point where I realize the efficiency of my factory needs to be established in the design from the start and if it isn't it'll inevitably bog down and need massive renovation That is the point where I get sad and bored of the game
