I'd like a source for this "basically a certainty" thing
For one in three adults, the zoster virus re-emerges decades later as shingles. Each year, about 1 million Americans develop the painful rash. Those over 60 are especially at risk. Ever Have Chickenpox? Then You’re at Risk for Shingles – Health .. not many things out there that leave you with a 1 in 3 chance to get sick at any point later in life
I will say that using the word "a certainty" is an issue. 1 in 3 is a horrendously high risk, but it's technically less than 50/50. For a certainty I'd say a 2 in 3 is more fitting. So really the only issue is some hyperbole in word choice.
Shingles led to my aunt nearly losing an eye, and has resulted in her basically being blind in one eye, it's nothing to fuck around with
Alright, but "certainty"? nah
