Not entirely convinced to be honest. Just because somebody is open about some of the skeletons in their closet, doesn't mean they can't have more/worse skeletons in the back. Sometimes people are open about some of this stuff specifically to distract from some worse shit.

From what I've read of Heidi's tweets, it sounds to me like she was trying so hard to hold on to her relationship that she inadvertently failed to see the signs, which certainly gave Jared some power over her.
