Sorry to keep on this point, but could you point me to any time when Jon actually said that any of the things he said were wrong or denouncing his former ties to the alt-right? Genuinely asking because I haven't been keeping up with it. The closest thing I ever heard from him back when the controversy was fresh was basically a non-apology in which he basically just said that he was sorry that his viewers couldn't accept the uncomfortable facts he was putting out, and he never actually admitted that anything he said was incorrect, he just said that he argued the truth poorly because he was "tired", and then just promised to not let his political views be in the public eye from now on, not actually doing anything to distance himself from them.

You're reaching so far that it's kind of ridiculous. You're making connections that aren't there. Not everyone has some sort of ~secret motive~ or a mask to dramatically pull off. Sometimes, people have different opinions than you because they disagree.

Some people also have patterns of behavior that indicate a more fucked up personality. Such as behaviors of cheating and abuse in relationships. Or patterns of defending people who sexually exploit children.

I'm confused, ASparkle/Asteroidrules has on multiple occasions defended/denied pedophiles to talk about the altright, so I conclude that they are regularly prone to do that. Where's the reach? I was saying that I think that this doesn't seem like a pattern; not that the individual comment was in any way, shape, or form good. I literally don't have a horse in this race, I was just making a comment about ASparkle's habits as a poster and what I've personally observed in the past.

I know I'm late to the party on this one, but I will only say this, so you can read it when you get unbanned. Jontron uttered shit during an interview that was seen as "racist", because he was massively misinformed on his own topic and this happened once, over the span of two hours. People didn't just forgive him, many have a soured taste of him, but it was not harassment, and it was not targeting any specific people but rather used to "debate" with, which technically isn't against the law. Pewdiepie have of course been in the fire multiple times, but many of the times he is being gaslight as well, with the Christchurch shooting especially since the responsible apparently was a Pewdiepie fan which then name dropped him. This isn't his fault, and it we can't hold him accountable for it. Also with the fact of him supporting alt-right people, it have been a couple of fuck ups recommending people that have harsh views that are deemed insensitive, but again he isn't promoting it himself, so we can't again hold him accountable for what others do. That's like saying anyone that recommends anyone that have been in this fire and dare I say, people that have said that they like ProJared and recommended him before this incident or after should be held accountable for the videos they recommend? Artistic and content has a different value than your own words and actions, and shouldn't really be "proof" unless it's being promoted by said person. So with some skewed jokes, the only thing I can think of which is "proof" on the matter regarding Pewdiepie is the "n-word" drop on stream, which to many seems far out of the question and absolutely disgusting, but the sad truth is that there is a cultural basis to this, where Scandinavian countries have been really lax or openly pushing the boundaries on using the N-word as common practice. It wasn't until very recently that it became a bit of a "pickle" but as a Scandinavian myself, I find it absolutely shocking how many people that still use the word, not realising how bad it is. I'm not in anyway endorsing it, but I see that as an honest mistake, and he owned up to it and still uses it frequently as a reference to show he isn't hiding the fact he fucked up. This also lasted maybe for about 5 seconds. ProJared on the other hand, have broken the law in his country, by soliciting nudes by his fans, many underage whilst in a relationship and marriage with his wife. Although not illegal on that front, he lied to his friends, which have been confirmed and many have backed out and not supporting him. This have been going on for many months, if not years, so it's not a slip up. He has also tried to gaslight people by sending them apologies for "making them feel uncomfortable", most likely in a way to cover up with many stories being still in the dark, and many of those who are slowly coming forward being scared of the whole interaction they have had online with him. He has also lied to his wife most likely, as she has stated that she did NOT approve of the polyamorous relationship that he "might" have had with her bestfriend and his fellow coworker. This has been ignored, and they have both gone ahead, with Jared also telling lies to Holly about how he is going to divorce Heidi. On top of that, he has started to seclude Heidi from interacting with his friend group, and openly made sure that she has been blamed for his mental well being and saying she has kept him stuck in this relationship, while he has had the opportunity to leave, and she have not due to financial issues, which if everything regarding this is true, is also emotional blackmailing, which will be heavily implemented during their proceedings of the divorce, and might also be considered illegal as from what Heidi has stated, has emotionally broken her. This is also backed up that she has not said anything until Jared blocked her, and she was out of his grasp and he had paid her to get out of the house, and also had "asked for privacy" whilst flaming her countless times in the "apology" where he tries to play the victim. If you are going to tell me, that someone saying something being uninformed / saying a slur by accident is on the same level as someone that have abused his wife and fans, engaged in what is considered child pornography in no matter what context as the age of consent doesn't cover it, and nearly all countries have a strict "18 year" to engage in pornography, emotionally blackmailed as an abuser to both his wife and fans and is trying to shift blame on his wife and not talk about the "fan aspect regarding the soliciting", then I gotta hand it to you. You have really lost the plot then. I'm in no way defending Pewdiepie or Jontron, but you can't put them on the same level as this, no matter how hard you try. This has gone on for long, it isn't a one time thing, and many lives have been affected by Jared's abuse.
