Where did the "Jared is a pedophile" narrative come from? I'm not finding any actual solid evidence pointing towards that. Note that this isn't me defending him, it's me actually just seeking information.

Also, "ForrestFurst", the producer at Normalboots, absolutely mentioned Heidi's abuse before he got quickly shut down by the internet and was forced by his manager to delete the tweets. Not sure if anyone's still got them, but I definitely saw the mention of it very early on.

I'm completely unsurprised that this turned out to be messier than everyone was acting; the primary source of info was the guy's recently-ex wife. Regardless of who turns out to be right, this is why you don't instantly jump to conclusions.

The texts holly posted do *not* paint Heidi in a good light, but after reading the texts Heidi posted, they read a lot more like someone who’s been betrayed going crazy and either trying to play along or losing it entirely. Not unsympathetic.

That's actually one of the most common reoccurring elements among abuse victims. They will enable their abusers because they believe that if they play along, the abuse will stop instead of encouraging further abuse.

My honest conclusions that they're both as bad as each other and they should really just drop everything and move on. Not just Jared but Holly and Heldi. At this point my general mindset is that Holly and Jared are still the worst cases and should continue to be dragged, but none of them are really great people to begin with. I fully understand the frustration and rage of people sneaking behind you with your s/o but this is just messy and excessive on all sides.

I haven't digged into it much so you know as me. If they're verified. He's fucked. If they're not. pretty much everything involved is alleged and unproven. anyone could claim to be 16 at the time because they were under the impression jared was cheating on his wife and wanted to get back at him. s'kinda why we have legal processes for this sort of stuff and so far we haven't heard anything about legal actions. it's also why cancel culture is absolutely shit because it completely throws out "innocent until proven guilty"

It's not being overly critical. It's being on the fence. Like I feel bad for the victims but let's not forget that situation got more toxic as it progressed and it was by their own volition. I normally don't ever take this position but this is a REALLY fucked situation. Like what do you actually go to think about. What more can you do to be critical of them? I'm honestly running out of ideas and answers.

The big problem is that much of this content seems to be he said she said. The texts on their own paint a nasty picture, but depending on who you ask the situation behind them can make all the difference. Were they written by an abusive spouse or an emotionally hurt lover? That depends on the story you decide to trust. What is concrete are the nudes Jared received and gave out. That information alone tells it's own story. Until another party comes out with their version of the story we really don't know who is lying and who is telling the truth.
