It's funny, almost in an ironic way. People have rushed to name their kids Hermione, yet JK Rowling named the character Hermione because it was a rare name and she didn't want any children at the time to be bullied or teased for having the same name as a character that, at least in the first book, varied dramatically in how likeable they could be, as well as being a colossal bookworm.
There was also the couple who named their twins Riku and Sora.
I met a guy a few years ago who had a kid who was like, 2 or 3 at the time. I asked him what his kid's name was. "Jax, I named him after Jax from Sons of Anarchy" I wanted to disappear
I will name my son Hot Pie
Well I named my daughter Emilia, so I guess I dodged a bullet huh.
Theon will always be a good name, thank god the show half it's existence ruining its own legacy so whenever I have a kid I might be able to get away with it without people assuming.
