Not incorrect. There's been tests with games that have Denuvo and then were later patched to not have it (Rather than a cracked bypass) And without fail, every single game tested had much longer load times. The framerates differed anywhere from not really significant, to 10-20%
Go and fetch me those test results, cause I think you're making this up. Here you can read two older posts where I explain how Denuvo works: Denuvo reportedly cutting DMC5 framerates by up to 25% Denuvo reportedly cutting DMC5 framerates by up to 25% I've worked on implementing Denuvo in Rise of the Tomb Raider. For legal reasons, I can't provide you a comparison. We've done internal testing which, after making sure Denuvo was implemented properly, shows that there is next to no performance impact.
they just removed denuvo from the Steam version (so much for that DRM, eh?)
