Their engine technically runs on PC. Not well, but if KojiPro wanted it done, it could happen.
I'm happy a game isn't trying to play into the hype cycle. Not all games need to pump you up and get you hanging for their release. If you're unsure on this game - good, don't preorder, wait until it comes out, look at reviews. We need more people doing that anyway. The game isn't any worse over the fact you don't know anything about it yet. The mystery alone is worth the hype, and if the mystery doesn't appeal to you - good, we need less game hype anyway.

lol the enemy is literally god imagine that
Yeahhh even if this is a game heralded for generations as revolutionary, I simply cant afford a PS4 just to play it. We'll have to see how the next console generation does
Yeah, hence why I like the mystery of it all. After all, it's got us talking and curious, doesn't it? Besides, like fucking movie trailers in this day and age, they always tease way more than they should and spoil parts of the story. I like the idea of something different and limiting knowledge on the end product. Keeps you interested.
i can't wait to come out knowing even less than i did before
I understand that some of you like the mystery behind the game, but some of us at least want to know which genre of game is this, Shooter? Stealth? Walk simulator? Even if you don't spoil yourself for let's say the last Avengers movie, I least you know that it is about super heroes, has action scenes and some dramatic moments, so you know what to except. Some people said that Kojima has done this in the past with some Metal Gear games but at least you know that the games gonna be about stealth.
I can't imagine what sort of unfathomable logical hoops you have to go through for you to find it inconceivable that someone is not excited about a game that we barely know anything about. Like how far down the rabbit hole do you have to be to be spiteful towards anyone who isn't actively interested in some particular video game?
Then wait until more info drops. If you end up learning nothing about the game until it releases, that's okay. You'll find out then.
That's exactly how. When's the last time you saw a AAA game this shrouded in mystery?
It will be a stealth based third person game with shooter elements, just like MGSV. The movement and aiming we've seen so far are almost exactly the same as MGSV, though I imagine aggressive acts will be discouraged. This is both because Kojima said he wants it to be a game about creating connections and because in the one piece of gameplay where the player aimed a gun at the spooky ageing rain ghosts he didn't fire.
I really wonder what the game is gonna be about, I really hope it doesn't become phantom pain 2. With that I mean just wadding through weird oil goop 24/7 doing a mission and just go back to HQ and rinse and repeat. Also I still don't get the rope thing, I remember it was mentioned in combat in an old video, exciting pull and tug rope adventure.
Exactly this - trailers nowadays tell you 50% of the story or more. I love that we know nothing about the game and it's being written and developed by an extremely talented man. Hell yeah, I'm hyped. But it's not like my soul will be crushed if it's a disappointment, I'll just shrug and play something else.
Easy, because it's weird and intriguing. What would one get hyped about instead? A new Star Wars game? A new sandbox title from Ubisoft? And be like soooo excited for the milkmaid to come and milk all the complacent wallets out there! I mean, Division 3, Far Cry 6, who in the world isn't looking forward to that?
So this comes out in 2 days and no one knows jack shit about the game. I'm all for ambiguity in trailers, but I'd like to know SOMETHING about the game. It's a third person openworld game with weird rain and persistence. That's not enough to go on
Hmmm well if you only use the letters that have a trail dripping off or through them, you get EAT STANDING. Hmmm HMMMMM https://i.imgur.com/8DxmZY6.gif I got nothing. It feels like it's been an absolute eternity since everything went tits up with Konami and he began work on this game. I don't even know what to think any more... I suppose another trailer would be nice, every little bit fills in SOME kind of gap I suppose.
This is a really crap excuse, by that I mean, almost everyone can save up money, if you can't save up any money at all and I mean, AT ALL, then what are you doing? You can't afford to put away like $40 a month or something? Or even $20?
I think he means that he doesn't personally want to buy a PS4 just for a single game. Also is bit stupid to say "really crap excuse", maybe not everyone has that money to waste on a new console you know.
No, some people can't do that.
There are more important things in life to save up your money for when you’re an adult.
No, not when I have an XB1 and I don't *really* want to sell that and my few games for it (mostly RDR2) Shit even if I were to do that then I'd lose a completed save file. I'd consider it if DS was as good as RDR2 (because theres no way it can be better) but … no. RDR2 was jaw-droppingly amazing and as good as DS may be … Look, one problem I have with Kojima because his games are great is that as a writer he can be pretentious as all hell. RDR2 doesnt really have this problem.
I'm so ready for this. I made my own theories and what not with what I think the game is about. They're fun theories and I really doubt I'm correct, but I feel like Kojima Unchained is going to result in a very high quality game which is why I feel very hyped for this game. Even though Metal Gear Solid 5 wasn't the best, I really enjoyed the game and i think if he was given the resources and time he needed, it would have been much better. Plus I'm sure he has been starving to create something new.
I know there are more important things to save up for, I'm not a child, but saving up for luxury items, personal pleasures and what not, it helps take the load off from being otherwise serious about everything.
The struggle can real enough where eating comfortably for the day is taking a load off so not having a PS4 and being able to afford one is excusable in many cases since a PS4 is a large sum of cash.
I'm very interested in Death Stranding and I have enough money saved up to buy a dozen PS4... still not gonna buy it. I'm not spending 350+ bucks on a single game.
Livestream just went up btw https://www.twitch.tv/playstation We in the end game now
I'm excited. Been a while since we got a really weird AAA game.
Another terrible thing about these live streams is that they never release the dark ambient tracks they play in the backgrounds.
That and the chat is nothing but Russians spamming that weird Cyrillic moonspeak at warp speed.
