I've had a PS4 since release and I haven't played a game on it over a year. It's hooked up to my TV and I use it for netflix and such exclusively.
This I will purchase and play for sure. Pretty good sign that a consoles lifecycle has been good if I can have it for that long, not use it for games for ages and five or six years later have an exclusive coming out for it that I'm excited to play...

For sure, but frankly, if I didn't know who was behind this game, this wouldn't interest me as much as it does
I imagine people who're new to videogames in general seeing this trailer, reading about all the hype, and not getting it. These trailers aren't particularly special
So what this game doesn’t need to be everything to everyone.
it just has to do what it needs to. I'm not worried about the appeal to “new” gamers. They have tons of titles to choose from.
I don’t want a game that’s trying to be different and new hampered by appealing to he lowest common denominator.
