The new Windows 10 Xbox app has leaked - it replaces the Microsoft Store app

If you did have enough room for install though, games can be moved to the other drives after install. But you need to fix the first issue of having enough room in the first place. Shouldn't be a problem when you can actually install games to a drive on install though, which is really the wanted solution. I don't know why you can't when it works perfectly from the store

Damn, I missed the $1 Game Pass opportunity.
Ok, so after changing everything back to C: and installing/launching/moving Slay the Spire, I tried again with Metro Exodus again and now it lets me install it on my G drive right away.
Maybe it couldn't, for some reason, make the folder on the other drive and moving Slay the Spire to my G drive fixed that.
Should be still going

Son of a bitch, I did it through the app which has the normal $5 deal rather than the $1 one, so they got $5 out of me.
If you signed up for the $1 3 month xbox game pass trial a few weeks ago then you can upgrade to Ultimate for another $1.
It gave me another 3 1/2 months of Ultimate Membership.
I already bought an entire year of gold a month ago and getting the one dollar deal says in my system settings subscription menu that my ultimate gold membership with gamepass won't expire until 6/22/2020.
Surely it's an error but I can cross my fingers and see what happens
You can refund it

Does anyone know how to fix this? It seems to happen with any game that requires the latest windows update. I've updated, tried resetting store cache, tried reinstalling the store, running as admin.. but nothing seems to work.

Have you by any chance modified Windows Update? Like with a privacy configuration?
Run the Windows Update troubleshooter. reports say it's an issue with your Windows update cache directories, used to have this issue all the time until I eventually manually installed a new windows build though
So is it possible to use Nvidia inspector or RTSS with UWP games?
It should be able to, they provide configs for UWP only games (forza horizon 4)
to get around this, you could create a file with the same name in another directory, use Application EXE Name as the open type, and just open the dummy file instead
forza's look like this lol

It seems like its supposed to point to the folder of the UWP app.

See that there's no file extension for this? When trying to go to Hellblade's file location via the task manager it just highlights the ninjatheoryltd.hellblade- folder in the windowsapps directory.
Hmm, you could export the profile, add some strings to the xml
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?>
<ArrayOfProfile>
<Profile>
<ProfileName>Forza Horizon 4</ProfileName>
<Executeables>
<string>forzahorizon4demo.exe</string>
<string>microsoft.sunrisebasegame_8wekyb3d8bbwe</string>
<string>microsoft.forzahorizon4demo_8wekyb3d8bbwe</string>
<string>forza_x64_profile.exe</string>
<string>microsoft.sunriseflight_8wekyb3d8bbwe</string>
<string>forzahorizon4.exe</string>
<string>forza_x64_validated.exe</string>
</Executeables>
<Settings />
</Profile>
</ArrayOfProfile>
Should probably report this error on the github project
wtf how do these subscription based models make money?
there are so many (single-player) games on there??!
That might be because they put the humble bundle version for that game (i.e. no DRM at all), at least my friends copy from game pass says that

I got an error when trying to import the changes, and well, apparently this game was already part of a different profile, except using a different name:

This one didn't work until I edited it to include the exact name of my Hellblade folder:
NinjaTheoryLtd.HellbladeSenuasSacrifice_1.0.2.2_x64__nkbnxvch6z38g
And now it works like a charm

Not sure if many PC gamers would go through this trouble to get a vsynced 30-lock.
Are the system requirements rigid? Is it going to just flatout not run on my FX-8350?
That's nice. You need 1903 to even install the beta
You can just use the Windows 10 store instead.
Click it in the store just sends you to Xbox Game Pass PC Games | Xbox . Had to navigate through 20 different menus just to even view it in the store

Still a pretty awful experience, you don't get a list of the games you have access to on the microsoft store.
Use the update assistant.
They took Metro and Shenmue off the main listings but i've installed both by just searching their names. It seems the experience varies from user to user right now.
Oh, Cheers.

No worries!! I had the same problem, took me a bit to find out why
Finally got around to playing Superhot thanks to this, and honestly it's the most innovative shooter I have played in years.
