One of my fondest memories from Facepunch was the downhill lada races on Solder Secret Wars. That is one of my favourite gaming moments period, and it happened because of Facepunch.

Been here for a full decade and for the last 7 years Facepunch was always my first site to open when I started up my computer. What a hole this is going to leave behind. And I can clearly tell I'm not the only one that facepunch was their little home on the internet. I'll miss this, alot. It's been a pleasure!

Well that sucks, I've been posting here since 2005, joined up when I was 13 and I'm 27 now. I've always really liked this forum and the people in it, and I never really understood why FP studios kind of abandoned it considering how big it became and continues to be. But whatever, still glad to have been here. This forum got me started in 3D modeling, modding and game design in general which has been a big part of my life, even though I haven't done it seriously in a couple years.
Guess I'm heading over to KnockPunch or Faceout or PunchFace or... what was it?
I've been here a long ass time. Time to remember and move on.

Well, it seems that this one hell of a ride is almost up.
The slice of internet that I've called home for the past 6 years of my life is about to disapear.
All the posts & threads I've made, all the posts & threads that I've read is about to disapear.
I don't regret spending the past 6 years here, as was a privilege to be a part of this amazing community.
Initially joined for the TF2 Emporium threads, and ended up staying for everything else (Mostly as a lurker though).
Now all of this will live on as a memory, but I suppose thats the way it is.
Guess I'll be seeing some of you guys on the other side at Knockout.

I have been lurking this website for like ten years and haven't posted anything until today, but I'm still going to miss coming to this forum to read current news and topics and finding new viewpoints from you wonderful users. In my opinion, the userbase here has been levelheaded and rational with no circlejerking or namecalling, but still funny and respecting to each other. I truly hope this same level of discussion continues on Knockout for it has been an absolute joy to read your responses and opinions.
Maybe I could try to be more active in the new forums, we'll see..

Garrys Mod was basically my life for a long time there, spend so much time making comics and fucking around. Even long after the comic community on FP died this place still felt comftable.
