i havent been posting actively like i have 4 years ago, but i have been lurking a lot. this place i feel for some of us has been part of our lives for many years so its sad to see it finally go. been awesome lads, ill see you all on knockout.

Glad to be here for the ride. I've loved every second of the ten years I've been a facepuncher. I really hope the whole site gets archived, we need to be able to reflect on the awesome things that have happened here.
I can't believe Garry is actually going through with this. I don't think he understands how big a mistake this is.
I think 2019 marks 12 or 13 years on here for me.
Suffice to say, the chain of events leading up to this has been a fucking bizarre thing to watch.

Oh frick this sucks to hear. This site was one of the first forums I ever regularly checked after my friend introduced me to it, I lurked so damn much from like 2011 to 2017.
I remember the first time I ever got banned was after staying up way too late watching a Nintendo E3 conference and posting while sleep deprived thinking something I saw in the stream chat was really funny for some reason. So to hear this news at this same time of year feels like a weird cap to my Facepunch experience.

I remember being a young lad, playing on a random gmod server with mods, and two random guys directed me here. Its been a good 12 years being on this site even if I just lurked most of the time. Thanks for the memories guys.
Welp, been here since 2009/2010. It's been a blast.
I'll try sticking with Knockout, but I imagine it will be like trying to watch the Daily Show after John Stewart handed the reigns to Trevor Noah. It just won't be the same. I wonder if I'll find a new home.
