It sucks to have to move on. I guess I was never ready for it, and fuck any other forum, or trying to use reddit; there's no sense of community like this one.
I can only hope knockout will be somewhat the same, and that a lot of familiar faces will move onto using it.
Oh well. 7 years of have a different opinion from most folk on here. But always liked the challenge of trying to convince each other to your own ways... that and mercilessly shit posting each other.

I'll miss everything about this website. My late childhood, entire teenage years and start of my adult life all happened on this website. Not a day would go by without opening this site at some point in time and playing Garry's mod, checking the SBEP page and getting confused with Tortoise SVN for wiremod and the Stargate mod and all-sorts...

Ten years ago when I was in high-school, the two main events at lunchtime in the computer lab was playing counter strike 1.6 on disks that we secretly taped under the desks and browsing the screenshots/video sub-forum on here for new Garry's Mod Machinimas (when they were coming out by a dozen a day).
Met some great people on here as well as some shitheads but that's life. Stopped posting much since the transition happened and my old account was wiped out. This place to me can be summed up by an incredible microcosm of talent, ego, trolls, hatred and love. But in the end I guess that's what a family is. Wish everyone the best.
