14 years of my life and the only internet community I really cared about and visited daily.
I mostly lurked but it always felt like my home on the internet.

So, does Archive Team yet know this place is going down? I really hope a public archive of this place lives on. The photoshopped Subway foot longs, that guy who got locked in a closet, the "Boy laid to rest in Sonic the Hedgehog coffin" thread; I'd really like for those events to live on.
Whatever the case, godspeed you glorious bastards. Some of us will part ways here, no doubt, but I'll give Knockout a try. When I first heard of it, I dismissed it as a way too ambitious project that would never be completed, but seeing it myself makes me respect all the effort you guys have made to preserve this tiny corner of the Internet.
Longtime lurker here. I don't really have much to add besides what's already been said, so I'll just say that it's been some wonderful 9-10 years coming here on an almost daily basis to check out what's new.

I didn't post here often, but Facepunch has always been very important to me.
I grew up with this forum; the old grammar system was the thing that basically taught me how to write good English.
And when it comes right down to it, after all these years, you guys are probably still the best community on the internet.
The only time I did stuff of note was when I wrote massive updates for the Never-Ending Dungeon many, many years ago. I wonder if there's anyone left who still remembers?

2007 - 2019. Lost a lot of my posts when the custom forums were nuked (RPWL) and basically used this place as my news aggregate from then on. Learned a lot from people like BDA and countless others in Polidicks or Sensationalist Headlines. Wouldn't be the same guy I am today without that place. LMAO pics, the pc building thread and the games and television subforums were great too.
I'll be over at knockout, probably, but I'll miss this place.1
